TCA Elite Tech Men Gym Athletic Workout Running Shorts for Men with Zipper Pockets

Short had a sealed zipper pocket for keys/wallet on the plus side. Didn't have any belt loops on the negative but did have a full stretch waist. I've bought other shorts this size but the fit it was way smaller than expected.

These used to be my favorite workout shorts. I purchased my first pair about 2-3 years ago and I loved them-I still use them. I loved these shorts so much that I purchased four more pair in different colors. However, something must’ve changed in the quality of the shorts because each and every pair had the pocket come apart after a wash or two. I do follow the laundering and drying instructions, so not sure why this happened, but being that it happened to all four pair leads me to believe the quality has diminished. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase any more of these shorts as much as I loved them. Time to search for another favorite pair of workout shorts.

Usually I love the brand they are comfy, look good and I wear for running, BJJ and walk around the neighborhood, during the period of 4 years or maybe more I bought 3 of the TCA shorts and they all have this problem on the pockets but usually takes a long time to tear apart but this last one I bought in May and mid June the pocket already teared apart so now I can not wear anymore it is very sad because I do love the brand but the quality have been poor.

These are my favorite gym shorts, no matter what I’m doing- cardio, lifting, lounging. I got 2 mediums, a black and a teal. At first, the black shorts fit more snugly than the teal so I preferred the teal. I lost a couple of inches and now the black shorts fit perfectly. Kind of ridiculous because I paid for 2 medium sized shorts but it ended up working out lol. Also, I’ve had these shorts for 8 months now and after I initially noted someone complaining about the zipper pockets not withstanding a wash, I always let the shorts air-dry after washing. They are doing okay so far so I recommend letting them air-dry instead of putting in the dryer.

The zippered pockets are glued on not sewn. I had three pairs where the glue separated leaving a big hole in the pocket. Cheap Spend the money and sew the pockets in please !!

I’m a very fit active guy that was convinced how awesome LuLulemon is for guys but wanted something that wasn’t so expensive and hopefully more durable. These seem very well made but they are a bit shorter and tighter than I expected which isn’t bad but I’m into ladies and not trying to “bring boys to the yard”

I've just started running again at the start of COVID and purchased New Balance shorts/Reebok and Nike etc, all to dam expensive for my liking and I saw a review of these shorts by a great runner I follow on YouTube (who i trust...Kofuzi ) and thought, what's the harm, I'll order one and see how it goes.....Well, shorts arrived, I went for a 5K run and absolutely love these shorts, right length, breathable and well made. never heard of TCA even though I'm British but I now own 6 pairs of these and think they look super cool with the zipper detail and they wash well also. Great shorts and I'll try some of their other gear when winter comes like joggers etc. Worth every penny/cent !

Great shorts for working out and jogging. Super lightweight. Only issue I have is the zipper broke after only a few weeks of using them. I was highly disappointed considering the ability to zip up my pockets was the reason I bought the shorts. I also suggest to order the size up if you have a muscular lower body. I typically wear XL, but upon receipt they were too small, so I returned them and ordered XXL, which fit perfect.

Using it for running. Suits very well, comfortable enough, and a little bit stretched which makes the eventual phone in your pocket to be steady., without having it bouncing around.

I wear an XL in other shorts (Saucony) and a 40 waist (Industrie), the size chart says 39-43 but they were super tight. So if you like really tight shorts follow the chart, if you like a bit of room size up. The shorts look really nice, appear to be very well made, and are super stretchy - so stretchy that I probably could have worked out in them even though they were as tight as bike shorts. I have sent back for an exchange - and ordered more in a size up as I really like the design and materials. I also like that they don't have a liner, as I prefer to use compression shorts with phone pocket.
