Varathane 200241H-2PK Water-Based Ultimate Polyurethane, Satin Finish, Quart (2 Pack)

Contacted Rust-Oleum Corporation and they are resolving the problem for me. Great Customer Service. Original review: The packaging was pristine, no damage but the product inside was in severly damaged containers (not leaking) but looked like they had been run over with a fork truck several times before being packaged. The product was wrong. I ordered and paid for satin finish but received high gloss finish which means I can't use it. I refinish furniture and the highest sheen I ever use is satin. Normally, I use flat or egg shell but the pieces I am working on now are using a satin finish. This stuff is way too expensive to get the wrong product in cans that will be hard to store because of the damage to the containers. I have never felt so ripped off. Worthless.

This is a great product, and it’s super easy clean up with soap and water. However I gave it four stars because the vendor didn’t package it well and the cans were incredibly dented and smashed up. I was shocked that the product wasn’t leaking horribly out of the cans, as the cans are really thin! I’m worried they will begin leaking so I emptied the product into almost empty cans of water based polyurethane. Buy this at your local store to avoid crumpled items.

I really like this product. It's crystal clear just like they say. The oil based polyurethanes, although they may say it's clear, always seem to change the color of the wood. For the most part, this applies well and sands well between coats. It's a little runny compared to the oil based stuff so I usually lay my pieces flat to get the best finish.
