A Shiloh Christmas (The Shiloh Quartet)

I got this book for my 8 year old grand daughter for Christmas. I had read the other Shiloh books to my kids when they were young. She told me she loved this book. So the rest are now a 'go' for her too.

Well written, powerful message and perfect for any age.

My 3rd grade son loves the Shiloh series and greatly enjoyed this book. We were so glad Ms. Naylor wrote another book for this series. One thing I love about this series is that the stories take place during a time before electronics (iPads, Kindles) became a part of kids' lives. The main character, Marty, spends lots of time outdoors with his beloved Shiloh, in the West Virginia countryside. The way Marty grows up reminds me a bit of how I grew up. The Shiloh books give you a way to talk with your children about how previous generations grew up a bit differently. But the books are written so well, with lots of action and drama to keep your child interested. My son could not put any of the Shiloh books down and read them all very quickly.

A Shiloh Christmas was another wonderful book in this series filled with love and hope and wonderful morals for both children and adults. Though purchased for my eight and eleven year olds, I started browsing the book and read it in an afternoon. I highly recommend this book and the entire Shiloh series!

Bought this series of 4 books for my grandson for his birthday in November. So far, he has read the first one and loaned it to a friend to read. He is now enjoying the second book of the series.

Got this as a gift and have heard no complaints

Another great book by Naylor. I bought it for my fifth grade class. They were hooked on the Shiloh series and when they found out there was another book, they just had to hear it. The Shiloh series really hits home with the kids; they can relate to it.
