R4 Video Games Memory Card，3DS Game Flashcard Adapter Support for NDS MD GB GBC FC PCE

I have the DS Lite and it works flawlessly. Paired with the right software you can run any game you want. I originally wanted a flash cartridge for my GBA SP but were over $50+. I had a DS Lite, so I decided to dust it off and get this instead. Not only am I happy with having the whole library of GBA games now, I can get the whole DS library too! 64GB is more than enough for the storage by the way. Don't spend too much on a large micro SD card, the games are so small.

Works correctly if you know what you are doing. A slightly better plastic than the yellow R4 clone with the .cn url on the tag, though functionally identical. I can't compare to the original R4 as I have never used one.

If you know what you’re doing you can put all your favorite Nintendo DS games on here. 3DS games don’t seem to work but will run on a 3DS. So far I’ve only run into a few problems with a handful of games that won’t run but for the most part all the Pokémon games, Mario games and more popular stuff I’ve tried has worked. Been trying to figure out how to get it to recognize/open games on the other emulators provided with no luck, but I also have a Retroid pocket for all the other video game systems that only require one screen. I needed this really to just run all my DS games, so no big deal.

I’ve loaded the cart up with about 30 games and they’ve all functioned flawlessly.One thing I learned though, if you load more than one backup (rom) at a time on your PC, it may cause the games to corrupt. Uploading one game at a time and ensuring that it’s fully uploaded is the way to go!Other than that, setup was easy! Finding the firmware was simple and following some online tutorials allows you to play some NES and GBC games through the cart as well! Just don’t expect SNES or GBA to work.Overall, very impressed with the quality for the value. 100% recommend to those looking to get back into the DS library on a budget.

I want to start off by saying this is not my first or only r4 card I own. This did take awhile to get set up compared to more reputable cards. Once set up, I was able to load and play games, however it does occasionally freeze causing me to reset game and lose unsaved progress. This card does allow user to emulate games properly on a budget but if you can afford I would recommend some more well known r4 emulation cards instead.

The product worked well if you are looking for a .nds files or older. The item claims that it is a 3DS game adapter; however, this does not support 3ds games on the Nintendo console. False advertisement.

While technically an unbranded R4i, this thing just works. It's compatible with every DS I've tried it with, it fits perfectly, was easy to set up and even easier to use, and seems high quality. For the price, you can't do better.

Great, it's not cheap but at least there is more than 1 people that bought this one.You need a micro sd card. If you want to use an SDXC one (more than 32 go) you have to format it to FAT32 (search for some tutorials). You can use a micro sd SDHC directly for it to work (32 go will already be huge).You need to find yourself the firmware or "kernel" (some files to drag in the microSD along the roms). For the kernel I used the "R4 Smart Update Original" (you can find it online easely) because it was more complete with emulators built in for gba and others consoles.I used it on DSi XL and 2ds XL but sadly it can't play 3ds game. The cards/R4/linkers that are capable of that are hard to find, some says you would be better off hacking the console to be able to play 3ds game. This product allows to play games easely without hacking your console and i imagine you can easely lend it to someone.If you struggle there are a lot of tutorial, good luck!

This thing is invaluable especially since lots of DS games don't let you keep multiple save files on one cartridge. You can also run romhacks, randomizers, etc., this is honestly the best way to take your DS game collection with you without having to swap cartridges or mod your console.

Working nicely since i bough it (1 months ago ago) with my DS lite. You need to install WOOD r4 firmware to make it work, would have appreciated if the seller had added this information in the product description.
