Ordered this to replace the same item that lasted almost 4 years. The old unit still heats but is now plugged with deposits and doesnt have enough flow. For the price I'll replace it in another 4 years and still be happy. I did have trouble with debris clogging the sprayers so this time installed a clear inline filter to prevent any clogging issues.

Fluid heater works great and was easy to install.
I installed one on my wife's Wrangler and one on my Dodge Dakota. Had to install outside but temp was up to 27 degrees. Very hard to find a space in both, a surprise. I found space and the installation took about 15 to 20 minutes each. We have had a couple frosty days since with one about 5 degrees in the morning. Both work as advertised with no flaws so far. I've been going to make a unit to do this for years but never got around to it. This was fast and easy. I found that the exposed + power connector made me nervous so I filled the plastic cap that came on it with red liquid electrical tape and stuck it on the post over the the nut and wire, then made sure the exposed metal was completely covered with the liquid rubber. It formed a good seal and will protect the connector from shorts.

I have owned two of these wiper fluid heaters. When they work, I feel they do a great job. They have helped deice my windsheild in Tahoe and Rocky Mountain winters. However they only seem to last 1 year. Because of their longevity issues I would not recommend the product.

Works pretty well. I put this on an 09 Dodge 3500. There were still a few days it didn't want to work until the engine bay warmed. Also it dribbles washer fluid. Kind of annoying and wasteful, but not a huge deal.

heats the washer fluid does a nice job cleaning the windshield
Did everything as expected, heats the washer fluid does a nice job cleaning the windshield. Hardest part was finding a place to mount it in the engine bay. Everything you did to do the install was included in the kit.

Heated fluid when it was 70 degrees outside but now that it is cold(30 degrees F) it barely makes any difference.
