I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is suffering from back pain. I bought this for my father who drives nine hours home on the weekends and nine hours back to work. Before he started using this cushion, he would almost have to crawl out of his truck when he got home because he was in so much pain. Despite the fact we tease him for needing a 'butt cushion,' his pain has been dramatically reduced. My grandfather is now wanting me to purchase him one as well because of how much my father loves it. This would be great for anyone who has back, hip, or leg pain from sitting or driving.Edit* After continuous use for well over a year (18 hours every weekend), I had to get my father a new one. His still worked well, but had just flattened from so much use. All of the stitching was still in place, though. I now use his old one on my much shorter two hour drives while he has another one.

Very good for sitting posture. Firm support. I like the removable and washable cover that resists slipping on a chair. Also like the handle. It’s not as cushiony as I would like, so it doesn’t do a perfect job of preventing sciatic and trochanter pain. But I’m petite: short legs, small bum. This cushion comes closer to perfect than others I’ve tried, so I’m keeping it.

It does stay firm so i do use it for a booster at work. It doesn't flatten and it does keep its firmness. As for it relieving pain for my sciatic nerve issue, and helping when sitting all day, I didn't find that it to help in anyway. I wish it was a bit larger; it is larger than most so if your bum is not as big as mine it might help. I did have a co-worker sit on it she is much smaller than me and she didn't really see any difference. Good if you want to sit a bit higher that won't flatten.

I'm a writer and the office chair I write in no longer holds in the uppermost position, the position that avoids my slouching my neck, which causes pain. Ordering a new chair means getting some one to put the damn thing together and I don't have the $ now or time for that. So I tried every DIY trick I could find on the internet, managing to put a gash in my thumb trying to undo one of those failures -- needless to say no success.Then it finally hit me to look for a cushion that might be high and sturdy enough to make up for the now depressed and depressing chair.I had my doubts about whether any cushion could add enough height or not get all flattened down, if it could, during the day.Well, this cushion did the trick.It's comfortable, high enough and does not lose it's height or stamina after hours of sitting on it.Well done and thanks

Terrible, when I bought it , the price was $40, it was my first purchase on Amazon, because I was an ignorant about buying online, I did not know you can return it. Mine arrived with a lot black stains on the memory foam, the cushion was uncomfortable and did not help with pain issues. I only used it two times and put it away, Three days after it arrived, I bought another cushion called "Pharmedoc Coccyx Seat Cushion" for only $17, and it solved my issues.

I drive about 36,000 miles per year with my work. After a long day in the car without this seat cushion my lower back would be in a world of hurt. Since I have had this seat I don't even think about lower back pain after driving all day. The AceRate cushion has held up well over the long haul. I am not sure how long I have had it, I think over a year, but it is still holding up. I like that I can remove the cover and throw it in the washing machine to keep it clean.

It's comfortable, however sometimes I feel like I'm sliding off the chair a little. If you have a chair that can be adjusted so that the rear is slightly lower than the front, then this cushion probably works amazingly well.

With great anticipation I awaited AceRate LARGE Cushion. The key word here is LARGE! Well I have 2 other brand memory cushions that were considered Regular in size and they were actually bigger in length and width than the AceRate. Unfortunately my rear is larger than the width of the cushion and thus it is very uncomfortable. Also I found the outside cover material to be rough and abrasive. This so called LARGE cushion was identical to another I have, in every way, but with another " branding!". I could be wrong but I suspect one similar model may be sold by various vendors using different brands. The quality all,in all was as good as any I've seen, but for me, LARGE it was not.
