It all started with a simple ''tweet'' and the fact that the duo would never have met if Thomas Lindsey had not sent a tweet that turned Dave Stewart's world upside down. Stewart's new personal project partners him with a one-of-a-kind young male singer, Thomas Lindsey, from just outside of the small town of DeRidder, Louisiana. Stewart says Lindsey is ''one of the freshest new vocal discoveries in the last twenty years.'' ''Spitballin''' is an eclectic mix of Gospel, Blues, Country and Rock, and was recorded between Los Angeles and Louisiana. The duo, who were completely isolated from one another, never recorded together in the same room, using the power of the internet to collaborate on the project. The first single is ''Another Lie'' and its video features 13- year-old Indya Love, in an unusual twist, singing the song's lyrics of love and deceit alongside the duo. Dave Stewart of course, has seen and done it all... touring the world with Eurythmics, topping 100 million album sales, scoring films, writing and producing with fellow legends, that include Bono, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney and Aretha Franklin.
