CURAD Soothe & Cool Clear Waterproof Hydrogel Bandages, Assorted Sizes

Curad makes excellent first aid products and these are no exception.I'll preface by saying that if you have a burn injury that is significant enough you ought to get medical attention. Mine ended up being a full thickness 2nd degree burn requiring 8 weeks of treatment. 😢🙈 Oops.That said, I found these to be very helpful and soothing for my burn and for other wounds that were painful and needed a hydrocolloid type of Band-Aid.On top of providing soothing, they also keep the wound bed moist and free of any germs or dust and dirt.

I have a bad burn on my forehead. I sold out my local cvs & walgreens of their hydrogel bandages (ive gone through these like water) so in a pinch i ordered this brand and paid the extra fee to get it same day. These have seriously helped heal my burn tremendously. Burns are NOT easy and you really have to doctor them. Its been over a week since i burned myself and I wear these to bed every night. My burn is by no means healed. It's still very much an open wound, but these bandages really are my superhero product right now. Given that my burn is right near my hairline, the bandage doesn't fully stick to my face on one side and yet it doesn't move when i sleep or shower. I go through abt 2 of these per day with a few hours in between of no bandage time.

These are amazing for burns.

These bandages are perfect for minor burns. I don’t get burns very often but I love to have these on hand in my first aid kits for when it does. They provide an instant cooling feeling once they are on and numbs the pain.

I bought these pads to replace the Johnson & Johnson First Aid Instant Burn Cooling Patches that have been discontinued. I needed the pads to soothe and protect a 1 inch long burn (from a hot cooking pan) on the inside of my arm. The hydrogel pad was very effective in soothing and protecting the burn while it was healing. It stayed on securely during showers. Since the pad is clear, you can observe the healing process and watch for any sign of infection. All was going well until I tried to remove the pad. The hydrogel pad portion does not stick to the wound, however, the adhesive border was painful to remove and tore my skin. My skin is thinning and sensitive to bandaging tape adhesive. The previously purchased (now discontinued) Johnson & Johnson First Aid Instant Burn Cooling Patches never bothered me. However, the Curad Soothe and Cool Instant Cooling is not a good bandage for me. In the future I plan to use plain non-adhesive hydrogel burn pads and adhere it with my favorite tape - Nexcare Low Trauma Tape for Sensitive Skin.

These are perfect for those occassional hot oven contact accidents that are inevitable. Keep these handy for instant cool relief.

Love these , I accidentally bumped a hot cast iron skillet at a Mexican restaurant , I put one of these on and within minutes it stopped burning, left on till it fell off , I keep them on hand now

I’m notorious for being a bit of a klutz in the kitchen and am burning myself way too often than my husband prefers. These bandages are lifesavers in soothing my burns and protecting them, and can they can last for days (sorry, I don’t change them daily).I love that they come with their own adhesive. The burn sheets that come standalone and need to be covered with gauze never last, and inevitably get torn off and make my wound — and scar— worse. I only wish these bandages came in bigger sizes.
