CURAD Soothe & Cool Clear Waterproof Hydrogel Bandages, Assorted Sizes

Curad makes excellent first aid products and these are no exception. I'll preface by saying that if you have a burn injury that is significant enough you ought to get medical attention. Mine ended up being a full thickness 2nd degree burn requiring 8 weeks of treatment. 😢🙈 Oops. That said, I found these to be very helpful and soothing for my burn and for other wounds that were painful and needed a hydrocolloid type of Band-Aid. On top of providing soothing, they also keep the wound bed moist and free of any germs or dust and dirt.

I have a bad burn on my forehead. I sold out my local cvs & walgreens of their hydrogel bandages (ive gone through these like water) so in a pinch i ordered this brand and paid the extra fee to get it same day. These have seriously helped heal my burn tremendously. Burns are NOT easy and you really have to doctor them. Its been over a week since i burned myself and I wear these to bed every night. My burn is by no means healed. It's still very much an open wound, but these bandages really are my superhero product right now. Given that my burn is right near my hairline, the bandage doesn't fully stick to my face on one side and yet it doesn't move when i sleep or shower. I go through abt 2 of these per day with a few hours in between of no bandage time.

I was baking a pie, took it out of the oven to cool, was talking to someone while standing next to the tray, swung my arm because I gesture a lot, and smacked it right into the edge of the like 400 degree pan. Ouch! Now thankfully it was only for like a second before I pulled away, and ran cool water over it, so the burn was not actually bad at all, but I needed something to cover it while it healed since I didn't want to leave it open to the air, and regular band-aids were not doing the job because they kept peeling up and weren't quite big enough. So I got these. They're awesome! They stayed on so much better than band-aids did, and it felt really nice having them on, the cool patch thing was soothing. They really helped it heal!

These bandages are perfect for minor burns. I don’t get burns very often but I love to have these on hand in my first aid kits for when it does. They provide an instant cooling feeling once they are on and numbs the pain.

I bought these pads to replace the Johnson & Johnson First Aid Instant Burn Cooling Patches that have been discontinued. I needed the pads to soothe and protect a 1 inch long burn (from a hot cooking pan) on the inside of my arm. The hydrogel pad was very effective in soothing and protecting the burn while it was healing. It stayed on securely during showers. Since the pad is clear, you can observe the healing process and watch for any sign of infection. All was going well until I tried to remove the pad. The hydrogel pad portion does not stick to the wound, however, the adhesive border was painful to remove and tore my skin. My skin is thinning and sensitive to bandaging tape adhesive. The previously purchased (now discontinued) Johnson & Johnson First Aid Instant Burn Cooling Patches never bothered me. However, the Curad Soothe and Cool Instant Cooling is not a good bandage for me. In the future I plan to use plain non-adhesive hydrogel burn pads and adhere it with my favorite tape - Nexcare Low Trauma Tape for Sensitive Skin.

These are amazing! I wish I knew about these sooner and I Wish they were sold in stores in my area. So much easier that wrapping burn patches with gauze or bandaids, it’s all in one!

These are perfect for those occassional hot oven contact accidents that are inevitable. Keep these handy for instant cool relief.

I got a nasty little burn on my thumb and ordered these - easy to apply and stays on pretty well. The burn looks good since being protected with these. I just wish they sold a pack of only the small bandages!
