Low light Bulb Replacement for 2013 Subaru Crosstrek
**Just installed review**These bulbs are great! These are part of their LC6 budget line and then it shines brighter than what you could get from a pep boys replacement "hyperwhite bulb". The installation on my crosstrek was fairly quick in approximately 10-15 minutes I was able to replace my bulbs (without the adjustments). No check engine light, no problem with installation, truly plug and play. Subaru's are great candidates for headlight bulb replacements since hyper blinking only occurs when the turn signals are replaced by LEDs.With that being said there is a slight adjustment needed for these LEDs to properly work. Out of the box, they will install in a diagonal 10 to 3 o clock position. In order to adjust to the correction orientation from 12 to 6 oclock, you must turn the housing at least 45 degrees. In order to do so, you MUST have a phillips computer screwdriver handy. This is not housing that uses the typical allen key wrench it's just a tiny computer screw that holds it together. Unscrew the ballast and turn the housing over to the next notch. Replace the screw and the LED orientation should be fixed. IF YOU JUST INSTALL OUT THE BOX YOU ARE BLINDING OTHER DRIVERS. The only reason why I've taken away a star from my review was because it did not include a tool to adjust the housing. You must be an IT tech to already have this size phillips in your toolbox. I wish the adjustment to the housing doesn't need tools, but it was definitely easy to adjust. All in all it's a great product...I would love to check out their other LED headlights but if the longevity of these lights is true to spec... looks like I'm going to need to wait for 50K miles before these burn out.If youre looking for an entry into LED lighting this is a great jump point to give them a try. Definitely better than Hyperwhite Xenon, HID, and Halogen. And pricing was just right.

Easy install, quiet, bright light (but not the brightest), work in Gen 3 Prius projector headlights
There's a lot to like about this LED headlight replacement. Its clearly brighter than the conventional halogen bulbs they replaced, produce a pleasing, steady, crisp white light, and work perfectly in our 2014 Prius (Gen 3) projector headlights. They were reasonably easy to install, and fit easily into the headlight bulb sockets on our car, though I did have to reverse the plugs per the manufacturer instructions (to reverse the polarity of the positive and negative leads) when the bulbs didn't light up, so the clips that hold the wiring harness in place do not engage, which bothers me a bit.The downside of these bulbs is they may be bright, but they are not quite bright enough for my wife, who can't see well in the dark after surgeries replacing the lenses in her eyes with multi-focal implant lenses. We know brighter LED bulbs, like the ones we installed in the reflector-style headlight of our other car, are really helpful for her and these lower-output bulbs didn't cut it in our Prius. We were hoping these bulbs could do the same.Alas, they didn't work for her, so we're returning these and replacing them with a more expensive set with higher light output.Pros:* These bulbs, unlike older LED replacement bulbs, work perfectly in the projector headlights of our 2014 Prius.* They produce a bright crisp, white light and improve road visibility without being offensively bright for other drivers.* The attached cooling fans are quiet.* They are easy to install.* Good price: I spent just over $30 for the pair, $20 less than our next choice with brighter LEDs.Cons (these are what lost one star from our rating):* The polarity of the plugs do not match the polarity of our car's headlight connectors, and flipping the polarity of the plugs per manufacturer instructions to get the bulbs to light isn't as secure.* These bulbs are bright, but other bulbs are brighter. If that's really important to you, you might want to spend the extra money for brighter bulbs. We did.

Not necessarily a quick/easy install
I have a Gen 3 Prius. The driver side was easy. The passenger side, not so much. The bulb is so long, there is not enough room the get it into the socket. I first had to remove the retainer screw for the air intake even to remove the existing bulb. That was expected. What I did not expect was to have to pull the coolant tank. Once that was out of the way. there is plenty of room/ However, the mounting bracket for the tank is right where your hand needs to be to lock the bulb in place. It took about an hour, and a dictionary of language that would make a sailor blush, just to get that one bulb installed. My hands are cut up. My back hurts. But the bulb is installed and working. I took before and after pictures of the light pattern on the garage wall. They are really not useful though. The pattern looks pretty much the same. I can certainly tell the difference in color, but the camera doesn't show it as much. The LED seems a little brighter, and more intense, but it could be just the color change. The real test will be driving. I cannot do that until Wednesday. I will update the review soon.Update: The beam on these with projection lenses is scattered. There is plenty of bright white light directly in front of the car, but little to none out ahead. Anything over 40 MPH or so and you will over-drive the headlights.
