Steve McQueen: A Biography

I always thought of Mr. McQueen as the king of cool !! He was I suppose in some ways. There’s always the other side of our film heroes and wow did he have a life. Not what I imagined him to be like in every day life that’s for sure. Very interesting read and well worth it for film buffs. Highly recommend.

I didn't know a lot about Steve McQueen. I'm old enough to vaguely remember him on TV in "Wanted..." I didn't see most of his late '60s and early-'70s films. I do think he's really good, and understated in "The Towering Inferno." It's a good bio....I enjoyed finding out more about him and his relationships with some of his contemporaries(Eastwood and others).

Brilliant. Just started getting first few chapters. Really interesting. Fascinating man. Such a sad end to his life though.
