Amity Home Blue Velvet King Quilt

The quality of the quilt was excellent but the color was wrong. I was going to try again and order the same Amity Home quilt in khaki but after paying $12.98 to have it shipped and then having to pay for the return shipping as well, which was $28.54 for a total of $41.52 out of my pocket and back to square one with nothing to show for it, there's no way I'm going to do that. BEWARE of this seller and their shipping charges that favor themselves and not the prospective buyer. Great way to lose potential new and future customers.

This is my first quilt and I love it. The velvet side is close to the color of the picture while the inside is closer to baby blue. It's a very simple stitch, but it's pretty, the material is quality, and the weight is substantial, but not too heavy. I tend to be cold, so I use it during the summer, but it's more of a fall or winter quilt. A great product for the price. I would definitely buy another quilt from Amity.

This quilt is gorgeous and looks like it cost a small fortune. It is VERY heavy, though, not a lightweight blanket by any means. It also drapes nice and long on each side of the bed, more like a bedspread than a quilt. Both sides are ruched, but one side is velvet, and the other is regular cotton. This quilt has been a perfect addition to the spring/summer change-out in our master bedroom. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered the king sized velvet blue quilt, after it had been on my wishlist for sometime. The packaging was appropriate for shipping and was shipped fast. Opening the package, the quilt was thinner in bulk than I had anticipated, as the other reviewers indicated this to be heavy & bulky. Once spread on top of the mattress the vertical seams have an imperfect quality, almost a rumpled look. I did not find the quilt to be excessively heavy, in fact I have found it to be average. Technically the length and width puts this in a coverlet category and it drapes my 21 inch deep king size mattress excellently. My one complaint has to do with the shipping label...in that my receipt was used as the mailing label. My entire order details including my name, some credit card details, purchase, and cost of purchase were shown on the exterior of the shipping box so all in residence at this address knew my purchase details. This is an egregious breach of privacy and should never have occurred.

Love the spread. Very pretty, soft and just the right weight for Georgia. The light color picks up dirt fast if, like us, you have little dogs who share your bed. Solution: a throw blanket for when the dogs are on the bed. Very sturdy also, and not too heavy.

Very soft and thick. Very nice quality. Should be good for the winter months.

I am so thrilled with this quilt. It is a very soft blue with beautiful hand. It can be used year around. The stitching is gorgeous and the quality is that of one 3 times as expensive. Do not hesitate to get this awesome quilt. I have looked for more Amity Home products because I am so thrilled with this purchase.

I purchased this quilt based on the reviews from others, and I agree with them! This is gorgeous, soft, and very well made. It looks great on my platform bed!! Very satisfied!
