I want to fix some blemishes on a camera lens. What kind of applicator would be the best for something like this? Cloth, microfiber cloth, hand??

I would start with the 100000 grit which is the less aggressive compound of the 3 and I would hand polish it with a microfiber cloth. If your results aren't quit what you expected then go to the next grid which is 50000 and if that works then finish it off again with the 100000 to get a smooth blemish free surface. Side note, if your nail gets into the scratch, forget it and call it a day since nothing will fix that severe of damage.

For camera lens with deep scratches, would you recommend 4000, 8000 & 50000? Hand polish it or use dremel? Thanks

Don't use a dremel! I used a dremel to polish a knife blade and spent 4 days trying to fix the damage.

What would you recommend to polish hard plastic to a glass like finish?

They make a special polish for this. We used it to clean plexiglass in TN the AF.

Will the 4000 grit polishing compound give a finish comparable to a 4000 grit sandpaper? If not, what difference would I see with the compound?

Diamond compound generally gives much better result than sandpaper, mainly because diamond is the hardest abrasive ever (which generally is not used in sandpaper). But the finish really depends on the material, for harder materials the difference in the finish will be more noticeable than for softer ones.

Great product. Definitely buying more.

Have tried cheaper brands. This brand is my go to. Reviews mention the paste being hard to push out. Just hold the tunes in front of a heater or run some hot water over them for a bit. It's thick stuff which is better than being too thin. I use for blade sharpening, but have used a bit for phone screen scratches. Just check what material or coatings you screen or product has before you use these compounds. They are an abrasive. They will polish but at the expense of removing a small layer of what you use it on. Great product!

Applicator syringe works well for fitting paste into narrow places, grits seemed about right in terms of effectiveness, and I liked having a few different ones included for final polishing

Glass Stove Top Repair

We put some significant scratches in our stovetop, because we used an incorrect scrubber. Although not like new the diamond grit with a drill mounted wool pad made it look nice. Gradually raising the diamond grit level and scrubbing really helped. I know this product will help you polish glass.
