Amazing! I bought this for my recent cross-country plane rides alone with my 3 children (ages 5, 3 and 1). My 5 and 3 year old had the same level of interest in this, they absolutely loved it! As did I! My 5 year old enjoying making them into shape and creating many loops/rings to hang off one another and my 3 year old enjoyed squishing them together, creating pretend eyeglasses and animal shapes. The possibilities with these are endless. We even made up a few games to play with them. These are definitely a multi-sensory toy, they loved smelling them, they loved making art with them, we used them to talk about the different shades of colours, what they felt like, how they are mouldable, and did some math with them and cut them up. I had people one the plane asking where we got it and asking what it was called. I can't believe how many hours of play we got out of this and still have lots left to play with. Most of it is also REUSABLE which is amazing for a craft item, some pieces to some degree were a little too squished cut up that we just tossed, but for the most part after 4 flights of continuous play and multiple times playing with it while away for a week, we returned home with most of the box still full. We love monkey string!! These shipped fast and well packaged. Each colour was individually packaged but in a non-reusable bag, so we just put all the colours in a ziplock bag to protect from dust, debris and possibly drying out (if that can even happen?).

Entertained my kids during a flight. Doesn’t leave too bad of a sticky residue on the fingers.

My kids enjoyed the large quantity of strings and wide variety of colors. The string used to make these is much thinner than the comparable product from Wikki-Stix. These behave very similarly to the Wikki-Stix, but my kids found they needed to use 2 or 3 times as many strings to create sturdy creations that stood up on their own. Overall, this was a good value for the price.

Great toy! My son got these for a gift several years ago and when they wore out from all the use, he wanted the exact same ones!

I haven’t purchased or used Wiki Stix before purchasing these so I have no sure comparisons to make but from what I have here I would say they are great! Despite the reviews I went ahead and got them. The sticks are thin but the amount of coated wax they have on give them the ability to be used multiple times. And, with the right maneuvering, they can stand and last standing for a while, given the proper balance and whatnot. I am most impressed with the amount of sticks received. Each color is individually packed so it made it easy for me to separate all the colors in half. Even with that I still had too much string on my hands than I knew what to do with at once. So I took the half intended for use and halved it again ending up with four decent sized portions that can last weeks to months. These babies will serve. As long as it does what it claims I won’t be fussy about the little things. I enjoy them as much as my kid does. Easy entertainment, easy distraction, minimal effort. Easy peasy.

I bought this for my kids. Great concept. Overall i think the materials are too skinny. It feels like wax and all the sticks from the same color were stuck together. We need to peel off each one to use it.

I bought this to keep my kids entertained on an airplane and I don’t regret it! They loved the texture, how easy it was to play with, and how many things they could do with it! It was convenient to pack in their bag and didn’t make a mess. 10/10 highly recommend.
