Jumble® Explosion: A Puzzle Boom (Jumbles®)

It's a great book. We like to work these as we have our morning coffee.. Sure keeps the mind sharp!

I've been buying these Jumble Puzzle books for my mom for every birthday and Christmas for a few years now. She loves them because she says they help to keep her mind working now that she's in her late sixties.I'm glad I can buy a bunch of these at a time on Amazon since they aren't available where I live. For this particular order I received some excellent customer service. I noticed it was taking a little bit longer than usual for my items to ship so I contacted an Amazon customer service rep via chat. No questions asked, the rep immediately expedited my international shipping and I received this order a few days later. Just one of the many reasons I love Amazon!

I AM 78 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE LOVED WORKING JUMBLE PUZZLES FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS. THEY USED TO APPEAR IN OUR LOCAL PAPER. I SORELY MISSED THEM WHEN WE LIVED IN AN AREA WHERE THEY WEREN'T IN THE PAPER. WHEN I GOT MY FIRST COMPUTER ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO AND DISCOVERED AMAZON.COM, I WAS THRILLED TO FIND I COULD ORDER WHOLE BOOKS OF THEM.I AM NOW ON # 6. THEY ARE MY "KEEP THE BRAIN ACTIVE" EXERCIZE. These puzzles are styled just like they have always been in the newspaper. Which is great because I'm buying them for a 93 year old woman that has taken the newspaper all of her life and delights in having her daily puzzle. I'm sure the large print helps too even though she doesn't wear glasses. I've had fun buying different jumble books for her.

Passing time

Another Christmas gift. He requested it. Not sure if this is the one he wanted. If not I will keep it for myself. I love puzzles myself.

It is exactly what I desired based upon my interest in the jumble puzzles found in the daily newspaper. The workbook provides a large selection of puzzles to work on and they are easy to read with the answers in the back. This was a nice gift from my husband.

I have purchased two other books and have enjoyed them as well. For those who do the newspaper jumble puzzles, the book offers a mix of 5 ad 6 letter word, daily type puzzles, as well as all 6 letter word, Sunday puzzles. It's everything I wanted!

These are presented exactly as they are in the newspaper. If you love doing the jumble in that format, you'll love it here. My only issue is that they could have fit so many more in this book. There is only one puzzle per page, instead of the four they could have easily fit on a page. If you wear glasses, you probably won't need them to work on these puzzles.
