Vegtrug Limited Patio Garden

This is the second VegTrug Patio Garden that we have purchased. We bought the first one about month ago and we already have a beautiful garden growing in it. We recently moved to a home on a lake where the deer are plentiful and cannot be hunted so this was our only option that allows us to grow enough fresh veggies for the two of us through the summer by keeping these on our deck and away from the deer. We put castors on the bottom of the legs so we can easily position our "garden" wherever we need it. Very sturdy and attractive.

it does take a little push and pull to get the sides to square up perfectly, but if you can live with it not being perfect the overall results are fine, Only time will tell how well it stands up to the elements. You dont know that you are required to treat this wood every year until you happen to stumble on in the manual which for some unknown reason is printed in like 10 languages and the picture or sketches are not perfect and very small. So far we are happy with how it functions. Makes my wife happy to garden without the need to be on her knees

The wood is a very weak pine; the holes for the bolts were not drilled for the correct size of the bolt. It will work, but I'll have to make some modifications to keep it together. I'm not sure it's worth the money. We'll see.

My wife added this to her "wish list" for Christmas and I thought she had lost her mind!Easy assembly with a video on the vegtrug website and we have enough vegetables for meals every day! She bought the greenhouse cover with frame to go with it and was able to start her garden mid April with the late spring! Removed the greenhouse cover and added bird netting. She also added a rainmaker solar automatic watering system and hasn't had to water the vegtrug since she installed.

Order received in excellent condition. Contrary to some reviews, found this product exceptionally easy to put together. Picture looks like this is yellow. Don't let photo fool you. It's just natural wood. That was the only thing I found disappointing. The fabric for inside is nicely fitted but I find the draw string very thin and cheap quality. Overall exceptionally pleased. I bought this for my elderly mother. Can't wait to get the soil and get vegetable plants! It looks fantastic in her yard.

I assembled it in about an hour and added 250 lbs of potting soil. I haven't planted anything yet, but it looks good so far.

These Vegtrugs are fantastic. We had two small ones last year and had "bumper crops" of veggies and herbs. We decided to buy two large units so that veggie gardening does not have to be a back breaking nightmare. Looking forward to great, homegrown healthy food this summer!

This is my second VEG TRUG and I love it. This one is now full of corn. The first holds all my lettuce and spinach. I love the fact I don't have to stoop to garden and that since it drains through the slats below, it also waters the herbs I have underneath. There are 2 more in my future. My only complaint is with the cover. It works for pests, etc, but not for frost or freeze damage. I would love to see a heavy duty model that did that.
