So far, so good
Update 04/05/2017After 4 years of usage (of course, it's not "continuous" usage), it's still functional. I thought the sponge-like pad would get damaged quickly, but it's still there without major issues (just a bit deformed to the format of my hands). Looks like it's rather durable than I initially thought.------------------------------------------------------------This is the first time I purchase a crutch, so I don't have any other case to compare. However, this product seems to meet my expectation so far, and it's helping me to reduce the pain a lot. I just wish the upper handles, the one that goes around the arm, were adjustable (to become tighter), but seems like other similar products have the same issue as well. The hand grip portion is covered by a sponge-like pad, so it is quite comfortable compared to other materials like hard vinyl, although I expect this to deteriorate faster.

Lightweight
I expected a stronger product that would support my husband's weight. These crutches did not make him feel safe. A better explanation would have helped me make a better decision.

Not for anyone over 145lbs.
I purchased this for my brother and the description indicated weight capacity up to 250LBS. The product is fair however would be better for person 145lbs or less.

These work so much better than the under-arm kind
These work so much better than the under-arm kind. Bought these when I was having knee problems and they did the job. They are fairly adjustable and worked good for someone short (I'm 5').

curved arm support inadequate
crutch itself is fine. However - the curved arm support is improperly aligned with the crutch and is clumsy to say the least

Lightweight Forearm Crutches
They are definitely for lightweight. I am 155 lbs. They work well for me. A step up from regular crutches.

Good alternative to standard crutches
The crutches are lightweight but sturdy and easy to size and adjust. They are still crutches and in that sense they stink, but given that you have to use crutches, they are a good alternative to the ones that kill your armpits.
