As good as Satta Massagana
This album has an incredible sound. Any fan is guaranteed to listen to it many times after purchase. I particularly enjoy track 6,8, and 9.

A classic!
Of all the albums we bought in the 70s this is one of my favorites! When I get in the mood for reggae I usually start here with 'Let my days be long' (or 'Revolution' on Marley's 'Natty Dread'). It is 'religious', as others have mentioned, but that shouldn't be a problem if you appreciate different styles(?) of reggae. Did I forget to mention 'Super Ape' or Augustus Pablo? Man.

Higher Ground
Another great one from '78. Another great release from the Abyssinians. Their music is very spiritual. It just makes you feel good. Good melodies and deep lyrics. If you liked Satta Massagana then you will not be disappointed with this one.

A real easy listening historical Reggae Album.
The Abyssinians are one of the most prestigious vocal groups to ever come out of Jamaica.Their vocal harmonies are unique and fully melodic withan uplifting cultural message. If you like conscious music and sweet harmonies I would recommend you to buy this album as it will give you an insight into the diversity of some of the artists who were a part of the reggae music genre. Bob Marley didnt do it on his own there were many others such as this who didnt have the same commercial success but played a major part in making reggae music recognised internationally through out the globe.A must for true reggae fans.
