Tomahawk Model E30 One Way Excluder

This thing seems to work
This solves the problem of sealing the last entrance without sealing the rats inside. Good invention, seems to work and the rats get to live to see another day (outside) instead of dying and decomposing in your walls.I used it in combination with a terribly annoying ultrasonic that humans can hear to pump the rats out of a garage after sealing all the other holes.Ultrasonic I used:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZH4LZYFSealed the last hole with the excluder and then set the ultrasonic to red mode for a few days. Best to leave town for 3 days and come back to a rat-free space (too annoying for humans to use while you are home and other quieter modes don't work). Gotta be sure you are closing the very last hole tho or -of course- you have to start again.

Worked!
Easy install. Blocked a couple holes and mounted it in a hole squirrels made by chimney. Here’s a pic of 2 young squirrels directly under the excluder. They use the excluder to exit and now they can’t get back it. My vote was to eliminate them with pellet gun but wife vetoed that!

It arrived it good condition and packaged well
The item arrived before the time promised. It arrived it good condition and packaged well. I was very happy! Thank you! This worked as described and is a quality made product. The squirrels are evicted safely and thoroughly, they are a bit mad but free to live on somewhere else. The metal fins around the outside really help in stopping the squirrels from rechewing the hole bigger to get back in. I am extremely happy with this product!!! Grateful too!

Good enough to get the job done.
Kinda pricey for what it is, but it does seem well made and study. We had squirrels in our walls, they'd gained access from a poor re-roof job done before we purchased our house. There was a big gap in the corner under the eaves. I built a little cage and added this excluder. Only issue was the other side of the peak had the same opening, so I sealed that side with big gap filler. After 2 weeks, we haven't heard a single critter in our walls. Now I gotta remove the cage and excluder and fill it with big gap filler.

Product works great and was pretty easy to install with the addition ...
Product works great and was pretty easy to install with the addition of a backer board with a hole cut in it to match the door. I hear the squirrels leave every morning, and have even witnessed them come out a couple of times. Now if only I could figure out where they're still getting in I'd be all set!

Life saver
Perfect for evicting rats from a soffit that we can’t fit traps in. Works if used properly, do your homework first.

Worked to get rid of squirrels in my attic 1st day!
Called a pest control company and they wanted $350 to come install this same item. For the money I saved, I patched the hole, painted, and fixed a few other items. And then took the family out to a steak dinner with the savings! I now have 2 of these to be used to support my new hobby/business.... Getting rid of rodents invading people's properties for only $300 each time!

Too small.
I must have overweight eastern gray squirrels. They did not want to squeeze into it. And the smaller squirrels that could fit could not operate the spring loaded exit flap. A 5”x5” excluder, with a weaker spring on the exit flap, from another manufacturer did the trick.

Works great
A squirrel had made quite a large entry in one of the roof vents. A specialist wanted $400 To install one and $50 per roof vent to install screening to prevent re-entry. With taxes we were looking at $900 to help with the problem.Extra Screening was needed to force the exit to happen at this one way door. I got a roll at a hardware store and used the rest to cover the other vents. The whole job was done for a little over $100. The only down side was getting stiff legs from crouching up on the roof.

Bye bye squirrels!
Works exactly as advertised. Screwed up onto my soffit over the squirrel entrance hole with a bit of chicken wire around the base for extra coverage (they tore out the bathroom vent to access the attic). 2 days later I have 2 evicted squirrels. They are not happy about it and doing laps around the house, but no luck. Adios suckers.

Smaller than I thought.
I hope it works. Haven't tried it yet.

One way door
Came just as described. Works well to let the squirrels out of my soffits.

This works !
It took about one week for all the squirrels to leave and they have not been able to return. You do need to know where they are getting in.
