This "product" will not recognize local TV stations from 2 thru 7 no matter what you do. I think it designed to skip these stations, and they should tell us that before we buy. We have a strong indoor TV antenna signal with an additional booster. My TV gets super strong signals for these stations 24/7. All I want is to be able to record our favorite programs on local Over The Air ABC and CBS stations. I can only use stations 8 and higher with this thing. I get our favorite programs, in HD, very clear signal with no problem using just the antenna. What's more, I went to their fake support site to get help at [...] as they direct you to in the manual. When you do that, you are redirected to a "Pay Per Play" sort of site that wanted to charge me $58.00 to answer a troubleshooting question. FIFTY EIGHT DOLLARS just to install this thing. Are you willing to pay $58.00 to get an installation question answered? I think this is just plain fraud.

This item worked perfect for what I needed! I bought it to hook up to my digital antenna and Epson projector. We don't have cable or satellite, so I didn't have a service to stream content to my new projector (except for my Fire TV stick). But this little box did the trick! I hooked the antenna to the box and an HDMI cable to the output, then attached the HDMI cord to the projector. Now I can watch network tv on my projector. Super easy setup, too.

So far this is working great (had it hooked up about 5 days). Easy set up and easy to use. I haven't even read the manual yet, but have been able to record a couple of things. Very user friendly. My only complaint so far is that the power cord is very short, so you will need an extension cord most likely. Also, no batteries are included for the remote. Overall, though, I'm very pleased. Great gizmo for the price.

Works fine. Pretty easy to set up. Only disappointment is that nowhere did it say that the picture would be limited to a smaller size than your screen. Its like the small square version of "letter box'.

Hagan was excellent to deal with, there was an error with my order and it was quickly fixed, they also upgraded shipping. The converter box works great, small, scanned in all channels and suits all my needs with excellent picture and sound quality. I will not need the PVR feature so cannot review that part. Thanks again!

I sent it back because it did not work. The back got hot as soon as I plugged it in and it would not scan for channels.I got my refund within a day and was very happy about that part.

This is the new model iView. It's even more tedious to operate than its predecessor. I didn't think they could find a way to make it more complicated to operate, but they did.Update 12/14/2016 This is garbage. It doesn't work at all now. It worked for about 6 weeks, and it wouldn't play my HDD series at all. The picture now flickers to black bars or black screen. One star and that's a gift.

seems to work well when connected to a good antenna and amplifier.
