Sweet story with a beautiful romance
This is my first ever Kylie Scott book and my first fake relationship read. The story kept me hooked from the start and I loved every bit of it. The relationship between Norah and Patrick is handled very maturely by the author. There is no unnecessary drama in the story line. I loved how as the story progressed so did their relationship and everything was subtle and sweet.Patrick is this beautiful, handsome, and caring man. I loved how he is super protective of Norah. On the other hand, Norah is super cute. She rants so much during the entire story. Her rants are cute and funny. They are thoroughly entertaining. I found the family curse to be hilarious.Oh and how can I forget Norah's grandmother. What a strong and utterly impressive lady. I loved her more than the protagonists.Coming to the story line, the entire story is told through Norah's point of view. Had there been few chapters in the book that gave Patrick's perspective, I could understand what exactly was happening in his head. I felt that at times his character just disappeared. There were certain instances in the story where it was hard to understand his actions. The writing part of this story is very well done. It's easy to follow and simple. Thus, fake by Kylie Scott was an interesting read and I would to check out her other books.

Swoony. Steamy. Dramatic. Emotional.
Grab your favourite pillow and a big bucket of popcorn as Kylie Scott gives you a first row seat in a gorgeous Hollywood romance. Fake is a modern day fairytale kind of romance with real twists. Dreams come true. Fantasies come alive. But everything has a cost and the glamorous world of Hollywood takes the highest one.Hollywood superstar Patrick has to repair his busted reputation after apparently getting caught with his best friend's wife. His manager and agent comes up with the bright idea of a fake girlfriend. And he chooses Norah on whim who works as a waitress at the little Italian place he often comes for a break. Norah is thrown into the world of gossip, glitz and celebrity black hole suddenly. While she has a strong willpower and backbone to tread in the murky waters, Patrick isn't proving to be the best fake boyfriend. He is closed off and sullen. But they have an invisible magnetic field of sexual attraction. This story is told from Norah's POV and as with all single POV books, this makes me feel a bit detached from the story. What set this book apart from other celebrity fake relationship stories is the genuine and believable approach to the whole thing. At the beginning, it's so awkward between them and they are fumbling and stumbling. And that's natural when you throw two unknown persons together in an intimate situation. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. Norah is so amazing! This woman is FIRE! Straight shooter. Honest. Sassy. Wicked sense of humor. Ready to take on the world singlehandedly. But she also has a vulnerable side from her bad relationships in the past. So she protected her heart while being open and pushy. I am so proud of this amazing woman for loving Patrick but never losing parts of herself. Patrick has trust and commitment issues but our girl made him work through it.Now Patrick was a welcome break from the trademark superstars! I mean he is still so charming and uber sexy and the world bows at his feet. But aside of his public persona, he is a pretty normal human being in sanctuary of his home. Never tried to take advantage of Norah's situation. Always stood by her and protected her even when he was trying to stay away emotionally. And when he becomes jealous of others? Cutest thing ever! He also has a very bossy and dirty and mouthwatering side in bedroom..he had the reputation of playboy for a reason! The relationship was very slow burn. Like slowest. Went from the stiff initial contractual stage to an unlikely friendship to super hot sexy times to accepting their feelings. You can bet the media and the world made their lives living hell but they came out as a strong team. More like soulmate. If you love fake relationship and Hollywood romance, Fake by Kylie Scott is it for you. Swoony. Steamy. Dramatic. Emotional.I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

Loads of fun!
The fake relationship that turns real has been written before and will be written again. I've read quite a few. But normally there's nothing to make them stand out. This story however had humor and heat and was written with a lot of emotion. I loved the female main character and really also loved the male main character. About my only criticism is that there wasn't enough 'screen time' for Norah's grandmother! I will definitely be looking for more by this author.

OMG, So Freakin-Fantastic!
Sweet, charming, sexy, and entertaining with these lovable and endearing characters. I couldn’t put it down. One of the best fake relationship romances that I have read. This had me practically drooling with anticipation from one page to the next… The characters are fabulously crafted and somewhat complicated. I love good romance and this delivered from the first page to the last.Patrick Walsh is a celebrity heart throb who is caught up in a scandal that just might ruin his career. So when they want him to have a fake relationship, he picks her.Nora has been waiting on Patrick at her job at Little Italy for the last year and half, when he comes in about every month or so while they are closed for business. She hasn’t even really ever talked to him until the day he shows up after the scandal with a woman in tow trying to talk to him. When she delivers his meal he informs the lady he wants someone real like her. Little does she know that she is about to get a big payday and a new boyfriend to boot.I loved these two coming together, as she moves into his mansion and starts playing the roll of a lifetime as his new girlfriend. Nora definitely doesn’t have to act, she is totally swooning for this hot, Hollywood heartthrob. Patrick and Nora are delicious together. Their personalities, their conversations, their chemistry… my my my! I was a goner, charmed, beyond words. This oozed heartfelt goodness. And gosh did I ever fall in love. Flawless from start to finish, with smart dialog, sizzling scenes and the perfect amount of sweet and tender moments.

Best fake relationship ever turning into a real one
Fake, just let's fake a relationship to improve the Hollywood star reputation. You're in?That's what happened to Norah when she was waitressing Hollywood star Patrick Walsh.Everything seemed more than pleasant and she just said yes.But what started as a fake relationship becomes more than real. 'Cause you can't control how you feel.Opinion:The relationship between Norah and Patrick just developed quite realistic. Norah is straight to earth and realized real quick that her five minutes of fame might be prejudicial for her further life but she's also loyal to all her beloved and to Patrick. Patrick realized by time that fame isn't everything and the real Problem by being an actor. He loves his job but now he knows that it will never be everything. Conclusion:I love this story and it was a page turner after all. I couldn't stop reading. Norah and Patrick have this amazing chemistry that blows everything away. A love like a fairytale.
