Our shelves use 3/4" Black Iron Pipe (not 1/2" like most other's are using) to provide increased strength and a bolder look. We clean each and every piece of steel before painting for a strong bond. Installation is easy, and once your brackets are in place, the shelves simply rest between the pipe flange against the wall and the pipe cap at the end of the brackets. Each shelf originates from a solid 1.5" thick slab of wood supported by beefy 3/4" steel pipe brackets Refined: All 4 sides of each shelf are sanded.
