The book provides good basic superficial information about scrimshawing but doesn't go into a lot of detail, nice pictures

Ok, a bit pricey for the actual wire bound book.The information inside is first rate and worth the money. I have bought virtually everything out there on scrimshaw re "how to". Forget the rest. This says/does it all.

Nice read for the beginner. Happy with purchase. Learning is fun.

Wonderful resource manual

I have been working with bone for about eight years and have through experience and research pulled a great deal of information together. This is the first comprehensive and accurate book I have run into and would have saved me so much time when I first started. Even now it has loads of new and welcome information that I am excited about. There is a lot of misinformation out there. Not so in this excellent little spiral bound book.
