Ultra lies, deceptions & revelations!
I like the fact that this story is finally wrapped up! Of the 3 books, I think the first one "Temptations" was the most sexually and erotically charged. It was a sort of tabooed reading of first love and sexual encounters with an older man especially one who is your best friend's dad! It had sooooo much sex in it! The 2nd story was more dealing with pregnant Leah and her time spent in the unwed home and with Erica trying to find out what happened to Leah. The 2nd story was so far from being an erotic story - it was more a tale of the inner workings of the church that Erica & Leah and so many others put their spiritual faith in - and how corrupt it had become especially by one man who had brutalized many and had been covering up for so long. It is a sordid story of the "Marys" and the "Magdalenes" and the sordid connection to the unwed home. The 3rd story and the conclusion is "Grace" - Leah, Rob and the rest are trying desperately to find Grace and bring her home. Leah is an emotional mess; Rob is trying to be as supportive as he can be; Erica is moving past her love for Father Michael and settling into a new romance with a boy named Clay. What ensues is so many lies and secrets that are revealed especially pertaining to the secret society of the Magdalenes and who were involved in it. It reveals the depravity of someone held high up in the church and all the people that it has affected. There are so many people connected with this "society" and trying to keep track of "who belonged to who" and "who begot who" was dizzying - so many twists and turns. I'm happy that Leah, Rob, Erica all had happy endings. But for the one person that deserved the most punishment - it was not fairly meted out. This vile person should have been vilified, castigated, castrated...etc! I can't even imagine all the damaged (mentally & physically) people that resulted from this person's demented mind and actions. I wanted him burned at the stake! Oh well.... At times, I wonder whether the author encountered any of these holier than thou hypocrites in her lifetime because what she has written exposes what is currently a hot topic in the church today - all these sexual deviants that hide behind their white collars in the church and judge other people while they are secretly guilty of what they are judging others of. Goodness knows how many "children" were created by men of the cloth throughout our history."Grace" had some sexual scenes but that was it - a nice wrap up. FYI: When Clay mentioned to Erica about his mom taking in foster children and then mentioned a new foster baby....I got a little tingling in my head.....

Wicked, Scandalous
Yup all that and some. Mrs kitt is a genius, I mean she will take you places, places were you thought you could never go. This book was wicked, scandalous, shocking yes people all that and some, but I enjoyed every bit of it. Mrs Kitt is so brave she has but her self out there wrote about things that make people/ society uncomfortable and she did that with three great books. but I don't feel offended or bothered by some of its contents. I love the fact that everything was explained in this book and even tho there faith in the church has been rattled, there faith in God was strong. Any way am off to explore other books from this author. If you have an open mind and have the heart to be shock out of your pants read these books, you won't regret it happy reading.

Secrets, Secrets are no Fun
I enjoyed reading this series. I had to admit that the second book in it was very church-y and I wasn't sure if this one would be as well, but of course, I had to finish the series... and I am so glad I did. While reading this book I shouted out "NO!!!" and "Yes!" (adding a little fist in the air for the yes). I was pleasantly surprised by the turn of events in this book, though I kept realizing why I am so terrible at keeping secrets... because they are bad for you!I am very happy that Leah and Erica got to find the answers they were seeking about the whole church organization and find happiness.

Nolan Trilogy
Just "wow". A breathtakingly epic story. Not an easy read by any means, but an intricately woven tale of corruption and debauchery within the church.Selena has outdone herself with this story.Starting out, I imagined it would be just a simple story of "falling for my best friend's dad", but it was so much more than that. Nothing simple about this story. I found it intriguing and fascinating. If you can keep an open mind, and have the time and energy to follow through; a really great read!

What an ending!
It was a happy one. Although, I do wish that all of the evidence could have been used for a slightly different outcome. I really enjoyed this series! I devoured it in 2 days.

5 Stars
This is the third book in this exciting and very scandalous trilogy and I have read them all in just a few days time. I've really enjoyed this author in how she told the character's stories and was chomping at the bit to find out what happened on the next page. I enjoyed the character's and felt even though the story took place in the 1950's that the author did a fantastic job of it. Will definitely check out more of this author's work and know that in the future, I will read this trilogy again....this time I will take my time reading it. Good job in keeping me that interested in your story!

What a wonderful ending to this series!
This has been one of the most surprising series of books I have ever read. I was expecting something along the lines of the Baumgartner series but found a series that has an absolutely wonderful storyline that was written extremely well.

Just Lovely!
I got totally hooked on these books and just had to read the entire trilogy to find out what happened to the much loved characters that I'd got so attached to. It was a lovely ending and was left totally resolved which I do like in a book.
