A waste of plastic!
I was hoping to use this to power a walkie talkie to be used as a type of intercom. There is so much noise generated by the SMPS that the radio is useable. To 'cure' the problem, I inserted a capacitor across the input to the radio - at which point the power supply gave up.A complete and utter waste of money and resources. Steer well clear.

Slightly expensive, but good power delivery.
This is a simple 12V supply in the form of a laptop power brick. There's a removeable figure of 8 mains lead and a fixed low voltage lead. The fixed lead has a 5.5mm barrel connector that most 12V devices use. There are attachments that go onto this to allow different connectors to be used as well, although you're stuck with the polarity of +ve inner, -ve outer (the most common). There is a screw terminal connector for using with flying leads though.Supply is pretty well regulated, flat and there's no whine. Seems to deliver 3A with ease and doesn't get too warm either. Fused UK plug, so better than the all-in-one adaptors.

Does what it's supposed to
No complaints. It does what it is supposed to, which is to drive a DC turntable. And it is a fair price.
