Great sealer
The liquid in a can is great for waterproofing outdoors. I have used it on the skylight curbs and gutters on my sunroom. Has not shown any signs of wear or cracking during the past 3 years. Has withstood +40 celsius to minus 37 celsius. The liquid version of this product is better than the spray version.

Flex Seal can eliminate periodic outdoor house painting
This stuff has provided a 'final solution' for certain outside wood on my home. I live where the seasonal temperature range can be 100F to -40F. This is brutal on even the best, long-lasting outdoor house paint. Every few years I would have to scrape and/or sand cracked or peeling spots and do touch up. Since I first used Flex Seal on critical places (like window frame tops where snow and water sit), I have had NO FURTHER MAINTENANCE. Note that there is conflicting information as to whether you can apply regular paint on top of the Flex Seal (for me, I wanted to knock down the Flex Seal's high gloss finish). So, last year, I painted over some trim that had been painted previously with Flex Seal to test adhesion and durability. All I did to prep the Flex Sealed surface before applying regular house paint was to scrub with a TSP solution. So far, no peeling or cracking has occurred. The only negative I have observed is that the Flex Sealed surfaces attract dust noticeably, almost like it's statically charged. However, the surface cleans up easily with a hose and soft-bristled brush. This stuff yields a truly waterproof barrier that has eliminated the periodic painting I had to do every 2-3 years. The wood trim is sealed and no shrinkage or cracking has occurred. I'm getting older, so the less time I spend on a ladder is fine with me!

Awesome Stuff
I have a 15 year old, 16' cargo trailer we take to our job sites. I replaced the skylight and needed a way to seal it properly. Regular silicone didn't do the trick and I considered roofing tar. I found this product and was a bit familiar with it and it's claims to seal. Well I gave it a shot to seal the skylight and it worked great. I then decided to order more and coat the entire roof and patch over the original sealant used when the trailer was built. The roof is galvanized and had a little coating of rust. I lightly sanded the surface to rough it up and applied the Flex Seal. I'm very happy with the results. The original sealant had separated in a few spots around the perimeter and this easily sealed those areas. I used a full gallon plus 2 pints to complete the job. I was pretty liberal with the application. It's thick stuff so it's not like spreading paint. I used a 4" wide paint brush and a disposable 2" brush for the detail areas. WEAR CRAPPY CLOTHES when applying. It seems to get everywhere-and I'm very neat! Disposable rubber gloves are a plus.

HALLELUJAH IT REALLY WORKS AS ADVERTISED
This is an amazing product!! It sets up and bonds like an epoxy product, in fact once cured, it feels somewhat like epoxy. I used it to fill in and repair and seal cracks between my garage pad and asphalt driveway. I experienced magnificent results.and the product seems unaffected by having the cars driving over. It also looks great. I noticed that it sets up dry to the touch in about 6 hours, particularly in warm weather. I intend to use it to fill and cover all the cracks in my drive. I must say though that you need to following the directions meticulously for best results. I like the way you can use the spreading tool of your choice - trowel, brush, roller they all work well and the product levels itsaelf very well. I am thinking about painting it on a back patio concrete surface where nothing else seems to work.Honestly, this is really one of those WOW products.
