The sound coming out of it was good. The big problem was that the mic was missing its battery so there was no way to charge it, you had to use it plugged into an outlet. It was also missing its power cord, so we tested it with an cord we had from an old phone. Unfortunately we had to return it, and my daughter was bummed.
