These have a great flavor and cook like wheat pancakes.
These are so yummy. I shared this with my sister in law who is sensitive to wheat but wants to fix meals for the whole group. My grandkids love these pancakes and so does my husband who is a very picky eater. I am using more grains in my diet and I love the variety. These pancakes are more filling and healthier. I really enjoy them. I make a complete meal by adding several eggs to raise the protein content and am satisfied for hours.

Not what they said it was!
This was advertised as pancake mix, but it is 100% blue corn meal. NOT the same as pancake mix! I wound up ordering it again (thinking I had ordered the wrong thing the first time) and only now found out that this product does not qualify for return. I am stuck with TWO bags of blue corn meal. DO NOT ORDER THIS IF YOU WANT BLUE CORN PANCAKE MIX!!!

Might be OK, but
The quality seems good, but I wouldn’t follow the recipient for pancakes on the package as they were very dense and dry. More coarse then most yellow corn meal. Would likely be fine for uses were a finer texture isn’t needed.

Best Pancakes ever
I will admit when I ordered this product, I thought it was just blue corn meal, but I did not read clearly. It was the best mistake I have made in a long time. This pancake mix is so very good. I will not go back to the original blends. A must have in your kitchen for that Sunday morning breakfast.

Too Gritty
Pancake mix was off from other south western blue corn mixes. Since it is from Arkansas this may be why. This mix was a little too gritty for my tastes, though it did taste good. The recipe was off as well though, follow the recipe for the waffles even if making pancakes. It definitely needed the extra water, egg and oil to cook correctly. Not really what i wanted, so will not buy again. I will stick with authentic south western sources.
