Awesome refreshing tea - no caffine!
My husband and I went to the Big Island in April this year. We discovered Mamaki tea. Super glad to be able to find it from this vendor online at Amazon. The taste is amazing! Super happy and hope to find health benefits with my high blood pressure soon. I ordered 4 quantity and was only charged shipping for 1. Great buy. Great leaves. Thank you!

Satisfied Customer
I purchased a quantity of 4 and it arrived in the same ziplock. I had purchased it for four different family members so I had to figure out how much to put in each one as gifts otherwise very satisfied with my purchase.

Hard to work with.
Found these hard to work with. Either make tea bags or pulverize the leaves,But leaving Giants leaves in smallPlastic bags was poor execution.

We love our Mamaki tea
this is a hard to find item, particularly at this price. We love our Mamaki tea. Our tree died. It is believed in local culture that it lowers your blood pressure and has other health benefits. I wouldn't stop taking your blood pressure medicine, but this makes a great tea. We mix the dried leaves with other tea leaves to always have 'sun tea' on hand.

For those wondering what Mamaki tastes like, its like a combination of aloe water and ...
I first had this tea in a La'au Lapa'au class at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Since I moved to Oregon I had forgotten all about this tea, until I stumbled across it on Amazon. I nearly cried and ordered some right away! I'm hooked and am so greatful that Hawaii Jams and Jellies sells this online. For those wondering what Mamaki tastes like, its like a combination of aloe water and green tea.I received the mamaki as whole leaves , and I found out the best way to extract the tea is to first smash the leaves up in the bag and than put them in a tea infuser. I use about 1/2 tablespoon for one cup of tea, but if you want a stronger taste add more. Than I steeped the tea in very hot (not boiling) water for about 4 minutes. So Good! This tastes great as Iced Tea too!
