Saved my safe
Quality products. Easy installation. Awesome customer service. I got locked out of my safe. I ordered a replacement pad. It still didn’t work. But the manufacturer kept helping me. Finally with a few tricks from the manufacturer & the right combination. It opened what a sweet sound.

Fixed my issue
Our old lock took a crap after several years, fortunately with the door open. This new one was easy to replace with clear instructions and it worked well. Back to security.

Great lock, didn't retrofit in my cheap Cannon Safari Safe
I'm pretty frustrated with my Cannon Safari 70-Gun Safe, and it's not coming with us in our upcoming move. The lock has repeatedly gone bad, so I figured I would just replace the whole thing. The current lock has a simple solenoid with a pin, it looks like everything should work, but for whatever reason the new keypad doesn't work with the old lock. They're the same connector, with like 4 or 6 wires, but they don't talk to each other. So I went to just replace the whole lock mechanism, except the tiny screws holding the stock lock in place are far undersized, the bolts that came with this were much larger, probably more appropriate, frankly. And then the placement of the original solenoid is low, meaning I'd have to cut material off the locking bar, etc. Too much PITA for a cheap gun safe. So I ended up returning this lock, but I did put my hands on it, made it function, and it's a very good lock as far as build quality, etc. It's my fault for buying a cheap gun safe.

Digital Lock For Gun Safe
This SecuRam Electronic Safe Lock was installed as a replacement lock for a manual dial lock that quit working properly. I have a Liberty Gun Safe. The new lock mechanism mounted using all the existing holes. No instructions were sent for installing the lock. However, common sense enabled me to complete the task. Directions for changing the existing codes were provided. The whole process was very quick and painless. So far, good product.

WARNING...E-Locks Fail! Drilling costs $300
I had this brand lock on my Cannon safe from Tractor Supply store. Not long after warranty was up on the parts and labor on the lock the keypad seemed to have failed, I attained a replacement from Cannon which was an NL; however it has the exact same components as my initial SecuRAM. As I was locked out and hoping not to drill I swapped keypads which were identical with the same plug in hopes it was just a faulty key pad. No luck. My old key pad DID work on the new NL solenoid. So that proved both old and new key pads worked, I checked the wires for continuity as far as I could up to the wall of the safe. The problem is with the solenoid which is locked in the safe. I now have to pay $300 and drill. I am now paranoid and though this new version of the SecuRam is a little sturdier and feels better made. I am going to buy a mechanical lock instead, my locksmith claims these E-locks last at best 3-5yrs and the dials are good for about 60yrs. Just FYI. Buyer beware... No matter the brand seems as though there are a lot of common components in these potentially faulty locks.

The new entry pad is much better than the old one
The new entry pad is much better than the old one, and it only takes a few minutes to replace. My only complaint is that the instructions fail to mention how to remove the old pad - you only have to push it up then pull forward to get it off the mounting studs.
