DanTDM: Trayaurus and the Enchanted Crystal

This review is via my 10-year-old who is obsessed with Dan TDM. He says "I would rate it over a million stars if I could. I liked the art, the story, the lines. It was so funny, hilarious, just amazing."From an adult perspective just based on construction it's a great quality book. Ink is vivid, book is hardcover and solid. It is a really nice book and a welcome departure from the constant video watching. Any way to get a book in this kids hands I'll take. Hopefully there will be more as I can say out of all the Youtubers my kids seem to be obsessed with, Dan seems to be pretty harmless.

This was a gift for my 8-year-old son. Thom is a HUGE fan (as in even dressing like him for Halloween huge) and we were genuinely bummed that DanTDM wasn't making any stops in the states for book signings. The book arrived properly packaged, well bound in a hardcover with a dust jacket. The illustrations are engagingly awesome. The story line is true to DanTDM style. I keep hearing Thom laugh in the other room while he's reading it. This is a really fun comic book and I highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan. DanTDM keep these coming.

IF you know a Dan TDM , or Minecraft fan then this is the perfect gift! It just came out in October of 2016, and was highly publicized by Dan TDM in his YouTube Minecraft videos.This is the Official Dan TDM book. Fans have loved it! It is his first Official book.If they don't have it already they should!For the uninitiated - Dan TDM is a highly popular Minecraft player who publicizes his game playing sessions on YouTube, and has been wildly popular.I live with fans, I have to admit I don't get the whole watching someone else play a videogame as a fun pastime, but I guess for gamers it is the same as watching football players, basketball players, or chess players play their sports.That beign said Dan TDM is a Babe Ruth of sorts in the Minecraft world. Don't let your fan go without! Everybody is already talking about it! We ordered our fans one right away, and all of our boy's (elementary school, middle school, and college student) read it - including our "resistant" reader the 8 year old! He actually WANTS to read this book, which has been great news for us!In the world of official, and unofficial Minecraft books it is hard for the non-player to discriminate between bad, & great Minecraft books. This book is straightforward published by Dan TDM, and makes a great pick for gift giving, or keeping if you are the Minecraft / Dan TDM fan!We would not hesitate to buy it for another Minecraft / Dan TDM fan from Amazon knowing it could at the very least be returned/ exchange without any problems using a gift recipient to buy any Minecraft book they don't already have, so we see this book as a No Brainer, No Risk Purchase! My 8yo son is a DanTDM fan. THIS was THE gift that got the Christmas gift squeal. Shut the front door, hold the opening festivities... The boy just wanted to read this book.The book is a very high quality book (I may have been surprised about that ;) ) with full color pages and funny dialogue. Just what you'd expect fron Dan. Is there anything this fellow can't do?!

Bought this for my son's 8th birthday. What can I say - he absolutely loved it, and finished reading it in no time. He will re-read it a few times, I'm sure. A great gift for any DanTDM and Minecraft fan. Hope DanTDM writes more graphic novels to get/keep our kids reading.

Getting my 9-year-old son to sit down and read a book is a nightmare. And I am a librarian. I have failed at choosing books that hold his interest and make him want to read...until now. My son (and I) are huge fans of DanDTM's youtube channel, so I bought the book. My son read it. Cover to cover. In 2 days. YAY! Please write more books, DanTDM or my son may never read again. I was very pleased with the size of the book, the quality of the illustrations, and the price for a hardcover copy. Overall a great, great product.

Cute book with great illustration. My daughter absolutely loves this book it's the first one I've seen her actually sit down and read without us telling her to. Of course the fact that she loves Dan TDM is a big part of that but hey whatever gets a kid reading is an A+ in my book!

Ordered this for my 8 year old son who is a huge fan! The book came when and as expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the book. Came with a dust cover and is a decent size. The illustration is beautiful and defiantly kept my son engaged as he read it all as soon as he got his hands on it. I would most definitely recommend.

My son is obsessed with DanTDM so when I saw this I thought it would be a win/win situation. Reading practice for me. DanTDM for him. However this was not the case.The book is in a cartoon format, with panels. He wasn't that interested in the story, and to be honest it didn't really grab me either.I think for a person who already likes cartoons this might be a good buy, but my son isn't that interested, and I thought it would be more like a novel with pictures.My takeaway from buying this item is that even if he loves DANTDM he might not love all the DANTDM products.

My 6 year old thought this was fantastic. He has read it several times, as has his 4 year old brother. They liked all the pictures in it to.It's a decent size and definitely worth the money.
