First...I was pleasantly surprised that the order was delivered by the USPS on a Sunday without special delivery request. Secondly I was pleasantly surprised that the order was combined with other orders. MOST OF ALL..I was so happy to find a means to purchase Spanish olive oil. Having traveled extensively throughout Italy, Spain and Portugal, I have found Spanish olive oil the best, but similar to finding diamonds at the supermarket, i.e. difficult to purchase in a rural area. The product was well packaged and high quality. Appreciate the smaller fl oz per bottle, as unopened containers have longer shelf life. I use olive oil in my frying bread/cake baking as the result is richer and my arteries and lactose intolerance sigh in relief. Thank you Amazon for giving “us very rural inhabitants” access to a wider market.

I was in southern Spain and I loved trying the varieties of local olive oil; pan tostada con aciete y tomate became my favorite breakfast. (Too bad I can't make coffee like the Spanish.) I didn't buy olive oil over there, because it would be too hard to get it back here with me; but the moment I got back I knew I'd made a mistake. I came looking on Amazon, and I found GringoCool.Taking a risk, I bought both their Hojiblanca and Picual varietals. They are delicious and distinct; very close if not identical to some of my favorites over there... though none of the bottles I found in restaurants and cafes actually identified a specific variety.The Picual has a wonderful peppery finish like it should; the hojiblanca tastes green and fruity; both are almost too good to cook with, great for drizzling on bread or salad... or just try a teaspoon by itself to appreciate it.

I loved the bottles and box they presented in off the bat. The oil is very good Spanish olive oil. It has a light nuttiness to the flavor and is a beautiful color. I like too that it is certified organic and cold pressed (not first cold pressed thought) I will order this again.

Bought this in April for a gift. Oil arrived with a best buy date of July 2019. A 2 month outdate is unacceptable at this price point. There are better, more reputable vendors of Spanish olive oil on Amazon. Stay away from this unless you want a short outdate. This appears to have happened to several recent buyers of this oil.

The olive was very good quality however, there are some negatives. First of all, the description is misleading as it describes two bottles 34 ounces. It was two 17-ounce bottles which was not clarified. Also, the pour spout is so tiny that it takes forever to pour the oil into anything.

I really have nothing bad to say about the oil except it was more bitter than I thought it would be, but I would purchase it again. I expected a more mellower oil. Color is a dark green and container bottle is great! Shipping and packaging was very nice and arrived soon after it was ordered.

The quality and flavor are excellent, and the packaging is distinctive. I bought two bottles, thinking I'd keep one for myself and give away the other as a gift; I never know what wine my hostesses like, but they always appreciate superior olive oil like this. However, now I'm thinking I'll keep both of these and order more for friends. A real find.

I am willing to spend extra for fine olive oil. Treat yourself!
