Fontiene Meat Claws Shredder - BBQ Forks Meat Handler

This product is Exactly the same as the "Bushman Best Bear Claw" only with different packaging. The boxes are exactly the same size and the two products have the exactly same construction down to the "injection" marks from the mold. I guess that's why both got great reviews. I was planning on buying 2, so I got 1 of each since I couldn't decide which to give my daughter, and which I would keep - and they both sounded great. I guess I know now.

Cooked up a 30 pound pork butt the day these claws arrived. I used the claws to lift the giant cut of meat from the roaster with ease to the cutting board. I then easily shredded through tons of meat much more efficiently than using two forks, like I have done in the past.Don't know how I ever got along without these cool bear claw meat shredders. I highly recommend these to anyone.

They worked ok.. They are plastic however and I expected metal.

I do a lot of cooking with pork and chicken. I shred a lot of meat for soups and pulled pork. I use to always use forks and it took forever to do. These are wonderful. They make it so much easier to shred my meat. They shred it into the perfect pieces too. They take away a lot less work and easy on the hands. I will be purchasing more of these for Christmas presents. They are a must have in any kitchen.

I bought these to use for shredding chicken and pork. These claws are really good at holding and shredding meats effortlessly. These are sooooo much better than using a pair of forks!They are made of a very sturdy plastic that feels durable when you hold them. They are easy to clean and easy to store.I highly recommend these to everyone, you will find you use them a lot! Oh, and don't be surprised if you feel a little like Wolverine when you use them :-)

I bought a set of these from a kitchen store and those were metal and cost twice the price. I rarely make pulled pork or similar meats but when we have family events BBQ is a staple and I bought the metal pullers trying to shorten the time it took me to get ready for a reunion. I ran into problems right away as the claws I bought at the local store were slippery, easy to hurt yourself with, and hard to clean after use. So, I went to my go-to Amazon and searched for pulling claws. I was hesitant about these plastic ones from Fontiene kitchenware but they were less expensive and I thought they were worth a try. Wow, I am so glad I did! I laughed when I saw the picture on the box since they just didn't look like something that would be that useful. I was wrong.I was surprised to find that the item is stunning at having capacity to hold and secure the meat. I loved these. These were actually heavier than the ones I bought before. They made it much easier to grip without so much muscle from me, which is good since I'm not that strong. They are convenient easy to drop in a kitchen drawer. They are also super easy to clean. I ran them through the dishwasher with no problems. I've used them now for 3 family events and they don't even show wear. Fontiene Kitchenware made a a simple item that functions admirably. I figure too, if I run out of uses for them on meat or other food items, I can wear them in my hair or something!
