This product would be great if it actually fitted what I had ordered for the gate! I ordered the Lindam Easy Fit Plus Deluxe TALL version and this was recommended by Amazon as frequently bought together. So I never looked close enough but this does not fit the tall Version. Luck I only really needed the top extension to make my gate secure (due to wall shall at bottom of stairs). Therefore I wont be sending back but it really is not 100% fit for purpose due to it not being 100% universal and not fitting the tall version of the gate. if you get the tall gate this does not fit  Lindam 051300 Easy Fit Plus Deluxe Tall Extra High Pressure Fit Safety Gate 76-82 cm, WhiteLindam 051300 Easy Fit Plus Deluxe Tall Extra High Pressure Fit Safety Gate 76-82 cm, White

Tricky to review. It's an extension for a stair-gate. Ummm... here goes.I had a Lindam stair-gate that was too small for the gap - DISASTER! I thought all was lost and was about to re-build my entire house when I happened upon this product. I was worried it would be too good to be true, especially at such a competitive price compared to the builder's estimates, but took the plunge anyway.Sorry, Mr Builder... your services are no longer required - this thing worked perfectly, and so much easier to fit than an eighteen riser staircase with double switch-back. Thanks, Lindam 7cm Universal Extension (in white)... you saved the day.

Yes, I should have checked the size first, as this one is a bit too tall. After a trip to the shop to get a hacksaw I got it to fit, but didn't expect it to be about 7cm taller than the average gate size.It's also not the best quality item and the connections to the gate are not up to scratch in my opinion. I doubt it will last very long but it's doing the trick in the meantime.Advice: double check the height of your gate before purchase. I assumed that the best seller gate and extension from Amazon would be compatible, but it isn't. I also won't agree with the word "Universal" in the title.

Extensions for a Lindam gate.These extensions allow for extending your Lindam gate by 7 and 14 cm to achieve a desired width.Extensions fit my Lindam gates very well, allowed to mount my gates at the bottom of the staircase (3rd step) and on top of the staircase and ensured that the gates open like expected. (both 7 and 14 cm downstairs and upstairs in my case)Good products, although could be little bit cheaper, especially in comparison to cost of a whole gate.

We saved our Lindham stair gates to use for our second child. However in the meantime we moved house and they were no longer wide enough by about 5cm. We were going to buy new wider gates until I stumbled across these. They're easy to use and save money and waste if you already have gates that no longer fit. Our gates work exactly the same as they did before and you cant really tell the extension isnt part of the original gate.If you haven't already got stair gates, it might be cheaper to buy bigger ones instead of smaller ones and also have to pay for extensions. However if you already have gates and theyre too small now, this is the perfect solution.
