Speer Reloading Manual 13

Arrived in better condition than expected as a used book, better than description by far. Does not have the latest powders as they had not come to the market place at time of printing. It does have tons of information. Very happy with transaction.Larry

Great reloading book in great condition.

I have 3 Speer manuals and they are by far the best for solving reloading problems. The old Lyman were good but they have become political correct and are afraid to give really good fine tuning data. However, Speer is so full of crap when they compare the 30:06 to a 308. I have 3 308"s and 5 30:06's. The 30:06 is at least 200fps faster than the 308. I said at least. A maxed out 30:06 will hit 3" above a maxed out 308 at 300 yards. This is when sighted in for 200 yards. I chronographed thousands of loads.Speer manuals are great. and so is this one. Also, RCBS and affiliate to Speer is wonderful. I am terrified of hot loads so my cases must last for at least 7 loadings or the load is too hot. I cannot see that I am doing things wrong. I shoot then load then load some more. However, 95+% of all game is shot at less than 300 yards and a 308 will beat most magnums at that range because they are light and many practice rounds are OK with learning to flinch.

Sellers advertised used looks new and they were correct, beautiful book, I don’t think this book was ever even thumbed thru, excellent price and fast delivery.Thank you.Bryon.

The Speer Reloading Manual #13 arrived within 2 days of my order, and was carefully wrapped in a protective plastic film.This book, designated as "used", was quite plainly in "new" condition, although the flyleaf and edge of the pages contained the prior owner's stamp.Review of the contents revealed no damage or evidence of mistreatment, and no marginal notes or other evidence of frequent use.Review of the entries containing information relevant to my particular usage were comprehensive and precise.In general, the most recent issue of this and other equivalent books are priced on the order of $40-$60, although the contents are exactly identical to this prior issue.

haven't fully utilized it yet, but checked a few 44 mag and special items. from what i've seen, it's a good additional to my reloading collection. like all reloading manuals, there is always a slight deviation from others that may end up fitting your exact need, sometimes that data cannot be found on the web.
