The Art of Lenormand Reading - Decoding the powerful messages conveyed by the Lenormand oracle Paperback – December 29, 2016

OK, what do I say about this book? To be completely fair and honest, I think Alexandre is a gifted deck creator. I really do think in my personal opinion that he creates the most beautiful decks out there. However, I can not say that for his books or written materials. He does not speak or write English very well and it is very annoying when he writes something in English. This book is a watered down version of the Lenormand system and really does not offer much to learning Lenormand. He claims to fully explain the near and far method and the lenormand system in his book which is an out right lie. I have a goal to read every book in English about Le Petit Jeu Lenormand and unfortunately this one is on the list. I am not criticizing him, I am criticizing his work. One thing which is particularly vile that I find in his book that is found no where else in any Lenormand literature is that he ascribes Angels and Astrology to each Lenormand card. I do not know where he got this information from but to the best of my knowledge, I think he just made it up. He takes the purity of the system and changes it into some ungodly reformation that hardly makes sense. I want his kipper book but by the way he wrote this book and another book on the grand tableau that I have which has even worse English and meanings that do not even make sense when he lays out a grand tableau for his friend in the book, I think I am going to pass. To be doing this for the past 23 years, i feel he is a second rate lenormand teacher. Andy's, Bjorn's, Rana's, and Caithlin's books are far superior and offer much more information. I suggest you refer to their work. If you want to do a quick lenormand reading with little information gained, then this book is for you. I am sorry Alexandre. I am not trying to be mean, but this book is no good. If you do decide to write another Lenormand book, I have a few suggestions:1. extend the book. You really can not learn to be a good Lenormand reader with this book. There is no way that you can become a professional reader by using this book as your guide. Oh, I just remember something. The only redeeming quality of this book that I actually love that I have not found anywhere else that I have used and found it satisfactory is that he gives an excellent way to answer a yes/no question that you have. Most Teachers go into elaborate ways on how to answer yes/no questions. His is very simple. To be fair, I will not give that here but tell you to get the book. It is only worth it because of that.

Everything I wanted and more. Highly recommended. I own six Lenormand books. This is my go-to book.

My print on demand book had errors, a repeated definition for two different cards, thus leaving me without the correct definition for a few cards in the book. I love his book, chalked full of information, easy to use and understand. Lucky for me a friends copy had the definitions she shared that I wrote by hand into my book. Our page numbers didn't even agree what's up with that? I know nothing in life is perfect but missing information that should be there and not repeated exactly word for word into the next paragraphed item.

Love this Lenormand guide! After reading 7 other books on the subject, this will now be my go-to reference. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This is a great book with combinations, meaning, individual areas like time, person description, zodiac. It was fun to try new methods to read the cards and clearing prayer for the cards was very effective. It is well structured and it is easy to find the information needed. I enjoy learning the cards with this book. I would recommend it.

This was the first book I purchased to learn Lenormand with and I still use it daily. It is well written, full of pertinent information and a constant companion for this reader. I love this book.

Always like to read someone else's view on the cards.....some i agreed with.....others i didn't......pretty good though

I was very eager to read this, as there is a shortage of good material on reading Lenormand, and this book will certainly advance your understanding, whether you are beginner or an experienced reader. This author has so much experience reading Lenormand, and has developed his own reading style and interpretations to a very advanced level. His personal story of how he was given a deck at the age of 11 is very enjoyable to read. It’s very handy he gives a complete list of combinations for each card, which many books don’t actually include, so this is a very useful reference. Some of these are really different to my own interpretations, so this expands the meaning of the cards, and there is also guidance on different ways of reading the GT in segments which helps it be a bit more manageable and less overwhelming. He remains true to the spirit of the French Lenormand tradition, and there are variations from the more Americanised style that is now popular. His confidence, positivity, his spiritual understanding and the fact that this has been a serious lifetime study for him, and the way he has earned his living for decades make this a unique offering for Lenormand enthusiasts. This is someone who has lived Lenormand and has not just recently picked it up.Lenormand can answer questions clearly and simply if you get the knack, and this book gets closer than anything else I have read to helping you understand the very particular and unique language of this deck.The book feels as if it has been self published, with mysterious big gaps of white space, and a lack of proof reading, which is a pity, and the inside endpaper has also come apart from the cover. These things don't affect the content of the book but it could be a more professional book in future, as the basis is here, and indeed the author has a great deal more to share.

Ordered this to go with the Lenormand deck, it’s very thorough and easy to read and understand.There is quite a lot of information about a variety of aspects of using the deck which is good for me as I’m relatively new to Lenormand. Finding it good value and am glad I decided to buy it as the deck itself does not have an accompanying leaflet with it.

An excellent reference book giving interpretations not given elsewhere - except the equally wonderful Rana George book on the subject .The only slight impairment is that Mr.Musruck is not a native english speaker and has not had a spell check. This does not detract to the work he has provided though.Excellent
