Edit: After a while of using these cups I've noticed a few things. 1) The straws only leak if you over fill the cups (any baby straw cup will do this). And yes, as with any baby straw cup, the liquid can travel and stay in the straw. It's OK and the child can still drink from it. So you know, stop over-filling them and that problem will probably stop. There are lines printed on the cup, use those as a guide. 2) You can purchase replacement straws for these cups! Hurrah! Now there is no need to buy a whole new cup when your child chews through the straws. Thanks Dr. Browns! 3) Yea I don't know what some of you are doing that you're getting mold in your plastic cups. I've never had any mold issues with any of my plastic kids cups. I hand wash everything using the cleaning straws. These are pretty good little cups so far. The weighted straw stays in the liquid and it seems easy for my baby to drink from. We only use these for water so I'm not sure how they would do for other sugared drinks. They are easy to clean if you use the included brush. Don't forget you can sterilize the cup and components in a pot of boiling water for at least 5 minutes. Do not put the weighted ball part in water though (according to directions). I washed and sterilized mine and they are fine. I will update later as we use them.

Being a mother to three children now, I would say this item is the best when it comes to teaching a child how to drink from a straw. The straw moves around and bends, ensuring that they can always sip their beverage. I love that there is a little slide lock to close the straw when it's not in use. The only downside I have noticed about this product is that it tends to leak. Also, the small handles are an option that you can choose to keep or remove.

Work really well. Easy to clean. Only complaint is my son throws the bottle and milk shoots out every time. So definitely not 100% spill proof. Also the lid assembly can sometimes be tricky at first to make sure it has full suction. Looks nice and good size. Has been durable through daily washes.

I got this set (old vision, blue and green colors) last year. I started to use them during these months, I feel they're not the best one, but the price and quality are great. The main problem is leak: when my 13m baby shakes the bottle, the lid still leaks a little even if the lid is opened or closed. It is not convenient when we go outside with this bottle. If I can have a chance to buy a baby's first sippy cup again, I could choose another brand.

Me and my little one both love these. He can easily hold them and the weighted straw makes it so much easier than having to hold it up at a certain angle to get the last couple ounces. The straw is also flat and slow flowing so it was a seamless transition from a bottle for my little guy. It does leak a bit here and there or if shaken, but I use all Dr Browns products and most of them do this but this also prevents a vacuum effect in the bottles or sippies so I don’t mind a little leak. The straw does tend to flick little droplets if he pulls it out of his mouth too fast but nothing major. Overall, I’m super pleased with these and will recommend to mommas!

This cup is 100% non spill. It might leave a couple drops if there is still liquid in the outer straw but it hardly does it. I got 2 cups with my order. I love how it has a 9 Oz capacity, along with handles. The only thing is that for it to properly work it needs to be assembled perfectly. Which isn't hard at all you just need to pay close attention. The straw is weighted which is awesome at making sure all the liquid can get sucked up. However the straw has a bit of a strong vacuum force so it's a requires little extra force to get the liquid out but nothing my 1 yr old can't handle. I don't think very thick liquids would be ideal but Milk, water, and juice works perfectly fine. Now over time the cup doesnt work as well and it gets very annoying but for the most part its a pretty good cup for the price.(I've left a video explaining how to make sure it's perfectly assembled)

Overall a good product, the only downfall of these cups is that they have lots of pieces and are time consuming to clean. I had to go back to the fine print to figure out why they weren't working - you have to pull the straw part up through the hole until this little plastic lip part is also up through. Once I got that squared away, they work very well. Thankfully, they do come with a tiny brush to get in all the parts, which is time consuming but necessary. I like that the cups have measurements on one side. They are pretty easy to hold and so far the handles have held up from being dropped on the floor multiple times. Hint - put a pacifier clip around one of the handles and clip to the high chair-no more drops on the floor, a plus for their handle design!

I tried other weighted straw sippy cups which were leak proof and had a valve, making it extremely difficult to clean the straw as water didn't pass through when cleaning. This Dr. Browns cup is leak proof, but has no valve, instead there are two pieces for the straw which allow water to easily pass through when disassembled. Also, the flow is just right, at least for my baby (she spills a lot when using other cups, probably because of the fast flow). The best part is the measurements which allow formula to be prepared directly in the cup (I didn't find any other cup in the price range, which had measurements). Handles are removable, I only used them initially when my baby was getting used to holding the cup on her own. I don't need them anymore as she holds the bottle without them, so there's one less piece to wash. Also, without the handle, the cup takes less space in the diaper bag. To summarize, all features are well thought through. I will be buying more in a different color.

Me llego en tiempo y tal como lo describe el vendedor. El popote es perfecto y suave para que el bebé aprenda a succionar sin riesgo de que pueda lastimar sus encias. No es pesado. Incluye un pequeño cepillo para hacer la limpieza del popote. En mi experiencia vale la pena adquirirlo y el precio es totalmente accesible a comparación del famoso vaso del oso, estos vasitos no le piden nada y son de mejor calidad.
