Top or rear? under or over receiver? custom enclosed cabinet with holes on the bottom and an s3 venting the top.

Why don’t these units support remote control for receivers? It would be so nice when receiver powers up, Aircomm powers up. Thoughts?

Can the lights on the S8 be dimmed or turned off? I noticed the T8 may have that feature, please advise.
