I liked the way it swept items up easily.

From its appearance, the broom seems fine,. The materials are very stiff and not very pliable. This shortcoming affects the results from using it.

I can't believe I am so excited about a broom but - this corn broom is great! It is lightweight and that is what I needed. I have another corn broom that I bought at the hardware store, but when I sweep my porch and patio my back gets sore because it is too heavy. THIS corn broom is perfect! It is lightweight and I am easily sweeping my porch/patio. I am so happy to have it! I live in Las Vegas and there is a pine tree that drops lots of needles, right over my porch/patio, so this broom will get a workout! It has already cleaned - right out of the box and in 102 degree heat!! I just had to try it out! Thank you!!!!

I just love a good old fashioned broom. My husband hates them...to each his own. Good thing he never sweeps, lol. This one is made very well and I love the color. There is sticker residue on the stick, though, and I don’t know why?

Overpriced for the quality. 2 1/2 stars for broom quality. I wanted a broom with a wooden handle with a 7/8th diameter, but the handle end is rough (not properly sanded) and the broom was shipped unprotected (loose) in a long box. It arrived with a few piece of broom straws bent at odd angles. Delivery was prompt.I bought a similar broom with a metal handle at an Orchard Supply store a week later for $10 ($8.00 less than the American Market broom) and it is much better quality -- more robust construction, and with a comfortable 7/8th diameter handle (albeit metal). Much better buy.

I like this broom. Took awhile to get used to the smaller diameter handle. Now I prefer it. My old broom had a larger diameter handle. When I use that broom it now feels too bulky. When the time comes I will purchase this broom again.

I wish I had gotten a picture before I returned it. I bought this broom for a Halloween costume and received it about a week before the Halloween party. The day before, I noticed the bristles had turned a blue-green color...? We never used it to sweep, it just sat in our office until the party. I honestly have no idea how this happened. Disappointed for the money though... Why are corn brooms so expensive?

This broom seems to work so much better than the one it replaced and almost makes cleaning up the yard and garage a pleasure!
