I have started using the shakers for a few days now.  I find that I do like it.  Easy to use and doesn't run out of battery :).  The glass container allows you to see the nice ingredients such as the pink salt.  The cover is an added bonus.  Doesn't cover tightly but its fine enough.  This keeps things clean and not have stuff fall into the shaker area like dust, etc...I am a gentle user so I think this should last a long time.  However, I do like the extra glass container that came with item.  All together it's a great deal because you provided the pepper and salt to fill up.

Purchased for use on our table as opposed to use by the stove. Nice looking product but the grind adjustment is not designed for consistency. My other pepper grinder will "hold" the grind setting but this one has a dial adjuster that seems fragile and doesn't stay in place from use to use. I do like that these have ceramic grinders. This set also does come with an extra glass in case one breaks.

I have been using salt and pepper grinders for years now instead of the shakers simply because the taste is better.The electric grinders I’ve used seem to malfunction after only a short period of use, this really upsets my day when I no longer have salt and pepper available in the middle of meal prep.So I have returned to the manual grinders but they also are not all created equal (cheap internal parts, lack of adjustments, hard to fill, etc..). The last one I had leaked salt and pepper all over my counters because if was built to sit on the grinding mechanism.After receiving your product I immediately felt relief and peace come over me simply due to the way it was packaged. Now after using the grinders for a few weeks I can honestly say that I’m more than satisfied with my purchase. We’ll just have to wait and see how they hold up over the coming year.

These look great on my table. I like that they are glass, have caps and sit upright so as not to have salt and pepper crumbs left on the table. My only critique is that the salt comes out rather quickly. I bought them as a gift then a set for myself I liked them so much.

This is great to for personal use, but even better as a gift because of the packaging and overall feel of the set.Nicely put together, and works as advertised. While I have had them only for about a month, they've been working fine so far.Grinding element allows for adjustment of coarseness. Easy to fill and the pair looks classy together. Opening is at the top so you don't get those remnants of salt/pepper lying around after use.The salt and pepper taste (and look) great, and it comes with an extra glass - just in case!Superb value for twenty bucks. If you're looking for a pair of salt & pepper mills, look no further (unless you have some specific requirements not filled by these or plenty of cash to spare).

Bought these salt and pepper grinders several years ago and while at first they worked fine, they have not held up. The salt grinder doesn't really work and a gap has formed in the grinder so that most of the salt comes out the side instead of through the grinder making a mess. The pepper grinder is very hard to turn and doesn't produce much pepper.

I purchased these for my wife for Christmas, and she is very happy with them.**edit** the grinding stone inside one of these broke soon after starting to use them. HOWEVER, I messaged the company through Amazon and had a new set of grinders at my house in less than a week. The new set has been working great for a couple months, so I decided to edit this review.Having worked in manufacturing, I can understand when something might slip through Quality Assurance. An occasional slip is impossible to avoid. So the real issue here is the fast, excellent response from the company. Customer service like this is very welcome. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

Size is great, price is much affordable, free salt & pepper is a plus.Only negative view I have is that grinder is seems plastic So I don't know how long it will last, but I tried salt and pepper both and it grinds very well.
