Cowon Plenue D - expensive but worth it quality music player
Brilliant sound quality, easy to load music onto. Good options to change the sound by using the different equalizer options. It has not been charged since its initial top up so the 100 hour claimed battery life looks like it is correct. Small and fits in the palm of your hand but gives incredible sound. The only problem I had was the battery did start to deplete when I turned it off, but a helpful Amazon buyer instructed why the was happening and how to stop it in the settings menu.Great piece of equipment with a quality feel, not cheap but well worth it if you want to listen to quality sound on the move in my opinion.

An MP3 player as it should be
Only had it for about 2 weeks but very much satisfied with it. It is what it is, a music player, no nonsense camera, internet, apps, it is an MP3 player and it does that well. Haven't tried to make playlists yet but adding songs from the computer, scrolling through the songs list, very simple and easy. Only issue is that when connected to speakers, it can seem like they don't get very high (volume) but not that much of an issue

Excellent sound, easy to use and very portable
Excellent sound, easy to use and very portable. I bought an additional memory 64gb card to boost the memory. This has to be formatted in FAT32 otherwise it will not recognise the storage, but there are plenty of free programs you can download to convert the card.

Great Music On The Go
This does everything it says on the box. It is so easy to use and the sound is terrific. I would recommend to anyone who wants a simple, easy to use and carry music player. The only thing missing is bluetooth but I have come to miss that less and less. Recommend FLAC files as preference.

Impressive little player!
This is my first Cowon product and I am impressed. I've had it a little over 6 months now. Terrific memory, easy to use and I like the fact that I can still control the volume and next track/previous track function while the screen is blank, which I couldn't do with my last Creative product. The sound is great and there are loads of choices to personalise the sound. The most impressive thing though is the quite amazing battery life. They make a point of saying how great it is in their own product review and they are not lying, by far the best battery life of any similar product I've known. All in all I love my player and will certainly consider Cowon again in the future, though hopefully not for a few years.

Great until.....
Purchashed in March of this year and use most days, great sound and build. Then it died on me yesterday, Tried all the obvious tricks no luck. So I now have a handy paperweight. Loathe to purchase again as this has never happened with previous players. It would have been 5 stars if it was still working! Three stars because for 8 months it did!

Good but tempramental
Capable and good sounding player. I've found it to be rather picky as to which music files it chooses to recognise. I have albums ripped to flac files and mp3. Some are read without problem, some lack cover art and some don't read at all. I can resolve the problem but there appears to be nothing wrong with the files and they work fine on other players.

Great little music player. Lossless, iTunes synch, and SD. What's not to like.
Hugely impressed with this little player. The ability to add lossless, synch with iTunes, and transfer with SD is so useful. Good range of equaliser settings. I do find the touchscreen a little frustrating at times, but I think much of this is down to unfamiliarity. Battery life is great. The device feels really robust.

... of portable technology to listen to mp3 or even better. Life long battery and intuitive menus
Handsome piece of portable technology to listen to mp3 or even better. Life long battery and intuitive menus. The only minus is: you have to agree everytime you want the noise level to go above 60%, every bloody damn time. Havent found a way to bypass this silly limitation.

Very good value for money
Very good value for money, works well with the exception of the disply, it might be ok for pop music but it does not have enough space to see at a glance what track is playing on classical music.

Great Music On The Move
Recommended as best buy in What Hi Fi. Coupled it with good in-ears and its magic.

Excellent
Exceptional machine, excellent sound and easy to use, the only grumble you can't review previously played songs and volume setting 1 is still loud.
