Xinfa brand: probably NOT "pro quality" nor "industrial strength", but definitely good for the price.
I'd have to disagree with the product advertising that these are "pro quality" or "industrial strength". The grip is too cheap for that - just very cheap plastic, no texturing, no rubberized grip for extended use as would be greatly desirable, if not necessary for industrial use. At roughly $3 per knife or $9 for the set (the price we paid from Saver Sales, shipped via amazon prime), it was a pretty solid value though. But, ultimately the only thing "industrial" grade about these knives is probably the size. Though there's something to be said for using a metal guide too: Plastic guides would probably be better for keeping the blade sharp, but metal will definitely hold up a lot longer. These are the larger variety size of snap-off knife, with broader blades and a shape and size meant to mimic traditional retractable utility knives, the kind that use reversible blades, rather than snap-off blades, though they make snap-offs for those too. Each snap-off knife came individually packaged in old school packaging: paper back with a molded plastic cover, made to be hung on a hook on a store isle. But unlike modern packaging that is extremely annoying to get into, you don't need a knife to open these. The packaging was apparently designed for global sales, with possibly a preference for China, where the knives are made, as there're a preponderance of words on the face that I can't read. And, aside from the word "NEW", English seems to take a backseat to Asian-sounding words using English font, rather than Asian kanji. These are Xinfa brand knives. I don't know why the listing fails to specify the actual brand. The brand isn't called "Pro Box Cutters" as the listing falsely claims. Hopefully that doesn't mean Xinfa has a bad name that people might avoid or something. So far we haven't had any problems with the knives. They're reasonably sharp and sturdy. Though I'd question whether or not they'll hold up to a fall of more than a couple feet onto a hard surface, like concrete. They easily expand and retract. And have a knob for tightening to lock the blade in place when either closed or open. The knob is made of plastic, like the colored grip, which btw, doesn't look as luxurious as it does in this listing's pictures. These knives definitely don't have the heft or quality feel of an industrial grade product. Maybe industrial grade from the 1960s, but definitely not what I'd call industrial grade today. But, such industrial grade products typically cost as much or more for one knife than these are selling for in sets of three. I don't have any strong feelings for or against this product, aside from questionable advertising and suspiciously deliberate intent to avoid the actual brands name, but I'd probably recommend them to anyone who doesn't need a knife like this for all day use in a box manufacturing plant and who does need the broader size for cutting boxes and thicker paper. If you just want a snap-off knife for small items or opening packaging tape and envelopes, the smaller size might be more ideal, as these big models tend to be more cumbersome for lighter applications that might require a bit more finesse, like cutting through the security stickers studios often put across the top of Blu-rays and DVDs.Another point that might be worthy of note is that the blade for these knives are divided into smaller snap-off sections than some brands. This means more fresh tips per blade, but if you're cutting something much thicker than cardboard the blade might break prematurely.

Good quality cutters at a good price.
These are fine quality box cutters. About as good as they look. I can't stand cutters that don't have a locking mechanism, so this one is a necessity.I wouldn't classify them as super high-quality, but they are on par with what you expect with a reasonable quality cutter with snapping blades. These are a lot better than the flimsy ones that don't have a locking mechanism at all. This was a good buy, with three included. I would buy again and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good cutter. Personally I use it for crafts (cutting chipboard, foamboard, and cardboard, primarily).

Not "heavy duty" or "Pro Quality" at all
Twist lock mechanism is flimsy, not easily operated with one hand, and will snag readily on any pocket. Blade sections need to be broken off with a pair of broad nose pliers, there is no included tool like on other knives. Blade sections are too short to break cleanly, they chip into fragments. After attempting to break off a blade section, the blade would only extend after a lot of fidgeting. Could not see anything obvious, so even imperceptible damage can render the knife inoperable. These are garbage. Having "broken" one in a set of three, I cannot return them and am now stuck with two reminders of this knife's woeful inadequacy. These were designed by someone who has never used a utility knife, will never need a utility knife, and will probably never hold in their hand their own finished product. Alas, these will no doubt receive glowing reviews from octogenarian scrap bookers who use them once a week for 10 minutes. "And you even get three of them! What a bargain!". Shuddup.

I've used the knives to make several cuts of drywall so far. The razor snapped on one of them, and the plastic handle broke on the other. The cutters aren't going to last for more than a couple of house projects, but they're acceptable for the price.

They Work!
Definitely sharp and they definitely cut things. Bought these just so I could cut up all the boxes from my Amazon orders and smash them in the bin. They were rather in expensive and work well.

They are slightly less convenient than the non-screw-down type because the blade is pretty wobbly until tightened
The screw clamps secure the blade very well and it does not collapse when pressing the point in hard on a workpiece. The segments are small so I don't have to break too much off when I break a point. They are slightly less convenient than the non-screw-down type because the blade is pretty wobbly until tightened. Very sharp.

It was a good deal, I dont like the screwing think that much but who cares, I needed something standard for a cheap price and that's what I got...

Very handy
These are really handy, they work well, and they're inexpensive for being so convenient. I have a couple of them in different parts of the house and the third one I put outside. I especially like that they're retractable so I can carry one in my pocket when I'm working outside.
