Great cd, awesome songs is very different from their last cd, but in a good way i will say, i spend about 3 weeks listening to the cd and it has great songs, i saw them live on March in miami and they played a lot of songs from this cd and they sounded good live also, is a little more rock oriented in my opinion which is good.

Not their best record

I've bought quite a few Jarabe de Palo albums over the past five years and I would place this near the top of the list. It doesn't have a single stand-out along the lines of "La flaca", "Bonito", "Depende", or "Adelantando" but is such a thoroughly cohesive and enjoyable listen that I've had it playing in the car for almost two weeks (that means I've listened to it about 30 times through). The title track is a catchy highlight with lots of energy and an interesting flamenco style rap that sets it apart from much of Jarabe de Palo's other music. The other strong tracks are the duets "Vecina" and, in particular, "?A Donde Vas?" on which Ximena Sarinana basically takes over the lead. There is a bit of a repetitive sound to many of the songs but it is certainly a catchy and enjoyable sound. The lyrics also have something to say and many phrases tend to stick in the mind. So while there is no groundbreaking single, this is a very consistent album and strongly recommended for anyone who has enjoyed Jarabe de Palo in the past or is just looking for something new.

I buy all of Jarabe de Palo's CD... I just do, and I would have bought this one regardless of any bad reviews. However, and for the first time (hopefully the last), I don't like any of the songs on the CD... I don't know how to explain it, I just don't like them.

That's why I don't give it 5 stars. I'm a fan but can't do so many bad words (and some lyrics also....)I bought the album because they're coming to town (Mexicali) and I so badly wanted to go, but after listening to it I changed my mind... :(

Awesome!

It took me only 2 complete listens to realize this was a keeper. Every single tune on this album is either very good, or GREAT. First song reminds me of Amigos Invisibles. There is no way you will listen to this album and think it is anything below 4 stars. SOLID RELEASE!

Habe die Gruppe gerade erst entdeckt und liebe sie. Spanische Musik für den Sommer. Sehr schwungvoll und macht einfach gute Laune. Sehr sehr gut!

Eine wundervolle CD mit eingängigen rockigen Melodien und spanischen Texten. Ist nicht nur Liebhabern spanischer Musik wärmstens zu empfehlen. Einfach Klasse!
