Works best on standard size cans.
This was a little hard to get started on odd sized cans. Used a lot of batteries. Stopped working aftet a year.

Unless you like metal shavings in your food when using this can opener dont buy!Also turns very slow and no way to sharpen the blade and you have to let it turn 2 times to get it openReturned with no problem

Ordered this for my granddaughters hope chest and she informed me it doesn't work. Very disappointed in this item
