the thinning shears are a real downer in this, then again you do get what you pay for. They weren't balanced correctly or anything, they almost seemed like they had been tightened too much since the edge of both blades rubbed up against each other a lot. I won't be using them on any haircuts on human hair AT ALL. These are barely mannequin worthy. The shears are decent for beauty school but probably not ideal for a good quality one length on human hair.In a nutshell, don't buy these unless you plan on using these on dog or mannequin hair. That's all they are good for.

Overall this product is decent. Nice carrying case, good combs and trimming scissors...however the thinning shears are dull and don't open and close well. You get what you pay for I guess. I recommend spending a bit more $$$ to get a better set.

Small and a great price. All we needed was the thinning shears and got the set for less then the price of them alone

So these look better in person then they do in the product photo. The fake leather casing fits nicely in your hand and stores the supplies well. The scissors also do their job and are easy to use and very safe to handle. Overall, I don't really have any complaints. We'll see now if they stand the test of time.

I had to sharpen the shear as soon as I got it, there was a chip out of the blade on one side yjeu atr ok now but I think someone returned used shear or they are a factory second.

The two combs are ugly and not in very good quality, but the two scissors are very nice. They work well.
