How well do these compare to Heather's tummy tamers?

In my experience, very favorably. I suffer from GERD which was aggravated by the peppermint oil in the Tummy Tamers. Unlike the oil, peppermint leaves do not seem to cause excess acid, and they work just as well to sooth the cramping. I do tend to take more than the recommended dose, however. During an IBS flare-up I usually take 3 or 4 capsules 2x daily.

Do these open easily to obtain the powder? considered usage for DIY toothpaste and travel

There is a center seam, but they do not easily twist apart. I think you would have to cut off one tip of the capsule and pour out the contents.

Is this delayed release?

Our Peppermint Leaf is not in a delayed-release capsule.

Will this work as a natural decongestant for Sinus issues?
