Relieves lower back pressure, almost like a lumbar support on a car.
I like my bike seat, it is comfortable and helps with back strain. To me its like sitting on an office chair. When I coast I lean back and enjoy the ride. The only problems with this seat is the mounting and dismounting the bike. Usually I would throw a leg over like a horse, but with this seat I had to learn a new way to mount. I guess an old dog can learn a new trick.

Strong and comfortable seat.
This seat and backrest is well made and strong. I put it on my exercise bike that has a 7/8 inch post very easily. All you need is a 13mm end wrench.

Fits my exercise bike
Update: I've used it several times and I am happy with it. I can ride up to 20 minutes which doesn't sound like much but is 4x longer than without, and I can tell I'll be able to work up to doing it for longer. I have had extensive back surgery so I'm impressed. This seat was incredibly difficult to install with just one person. Here is what you should consider: it's easier if you completely remove the bike post if possible, turn it and the seat upside down, and hold backrest between your knees. Tighten as much as you can with your fingers and then tighten with a socket wrench. This does not come with any tools or instructions. I suggest the type of tool in my photo. Once the seat is fairly tight on the bike stem, reattach the stem to the bike and tighten again. The seat tilts slightly forward but not severely. See photos. Will update once I've used the bike with the new seat a few times. I'm hoping it helps. I had back surgery a few years ago and haven't been able to ride my bike since then.

Super comfy!
Definitely glad I purchased this seat, I got the deluxe to put on my electric scooter. The seat that has springs for a smoother ride! Someway the seat has made going out for a spin appeal to me more. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend.

Great!!!!
Took a couple adjustments to get the seat tilt to my liking, but now that has been accomplished it is extremely comfortable and the back support hits my lumbar back perfectly and feels soooo gooood!!

love this seat
I love this bike seat. My 12 year old son bought it for me for my birthday and its waaaaaaaay better than the seat that came with my bike lol.My only beef with the bike seat is that the bar the holds the backrest has some give to it and if you lean back too hard it feels like you would fall back. You just have to keep in mind that while your riding, it isn't a recliner lol

Have a bad back
Let me start off this review. Stating the description of this saddle is for an electric bicycle. I own an Electra 21D. And have a bad back And have not been able to ride for the last 10 years. The Electra 21D is a crank forward bicycle. Which means the pedals are 4 inches more forward than the typical bicycle So you can sit up straighter on the bicycle. I received this saddle and tried it on the bicycle. The seat quality Is very good. The backrest padding And appearance are also very good.Unfortunately, the back support bar is very flexible. And gives little to no support. I would not recommend this seat for people with back problems. It is a shame that I can't. For us that have back problems, this would be a very nice concept. To the manufacturer, I would suggest either a much stronger style metal or a three-pronged lower support to the main bar towed slightly more forward over the rear end of the seat to give a more comfortable and stable ride for the bicyclist. Hopefully an engineer or machinist We'll see this review and come up with a better design. I believe with as many bad backs and new brands of Comfort bicycles on the market that this type of seat could be a big seller with the right design. Hope this is helpful. To all my fellow back sufferers.Took another look at this seat. It's not the back support the gives way. The problem is the suspension. It's too soft causing the backrest tomove back and away from the back. Remove the seat suspension. And add a Seatpost with straight up and down suspension and problem solved. If there was a little higher charge for the new post it would still be worthwhile to me.
