I wanted to like this colander, but couldn't. There are too few holes for adequate draining, and the surface tension of the water clogs many holes.

Very nice and compact. I really like that the handles allow the colander to hang above the sink.

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these - I don't really have cabinet space for standard colanders anymore, this is great to save space! Very sturdy, fits across either side of my sink, great for washing fruits and veggies as well as for draining pasta. Great buy!

So far, it's great. I've only used a couple of times, so I'm reserving judgement on how long it will last before breaking, it folds and unfolds fairly violently so I wonder about it breaking on the sides, and I'm not going to lie + the size of the extendable handles are, in my mind, iffy for the weight this colander could hold, I don't relish a wider sink full of cooked pasta, nor do I want to risk getting burned if one were to break while transporting contents a few feet. BUT. I have misjudged an item or two in my time, so if it lasts a year, I'll be back with the last star it would deserve. Short version: I'm concerned, but not enough to quit using it. : ) So consider this part of my review a positive.Next, not all water drains out as the bottom is not flat, but no more so than other colanders that aren't simply wire strainers.Lastly, and this is to the seller/ manufacturer, whatever the case may be:I utilize the color red in my kitchen decor, but if I didn't, I think I'd be hard pressed to decide which color I disliked more between the three offered. Multiple color choices than just loud primary colors may be beneficial to sales.

love the design. Folds up flat. Washes up nicely. expands and is also sturdy. Meets all of my needs. Would recommend and would buy again.
