How do you get them out of the culture and into the praying mantis habitat without the flies going all over the place, if you are doing it indoors?

Haven't tried it yet, but I saw that you can coat the sides of a feeder cup, or something similar, with Vaseline before transferring from the culture. That way they can't crawl up the sides. Just tip the cup over and tap the side until you've gotten enough into the habitat.

Are they insulated when they are shipped?

They are packaged securely but not insulated.

Can these be fed upon arrival? My tarantula slings arent eating the bean beetles i got them

What is the square bag that comes in the box... is it food for the fruit flies, if so, do i break it up and put it in the container with the flies ?
