Time will tell how long they last, but they seem sturdy and are quiet. I replaced the dilapidated casters on a 1975 Craftsman box. The holes lined up perfectly.

We use these wheels on a moveable 8' x 4' table and they work well.

The stock 5" casters on my Kennedy tool chest were worn out, and I also wanted to lower it slightly to provide easier access to the two boxes I have stacked on top of it. These casters worked perfectly and are a great value for the price. Installation was quick and easy with no modification needed, the box sits perfectly level, and actually rolls around better than it did on the original casters. Best of all, the brake on these is the "good" kind that locks both the wheel and the swivel mechanism.

My mother left me my great grandmother's upright. It spent years in the basement at my old house. We recently moved and the wheels were worn. We attached them to the bottom of the beast of a piano. 5 men and 4 wheels later, we got here on and off of the truck. It didn't help with strained backs, but it sure made it easier than what it could have been. If anyone knows how much an upright weighs, they'd totally understand. Only wished all the wheels turn 360°.

This is the 3rd. set of wheels on the mobile base on my table saw and are absolutely the very best I've ever had. As soon as I raise the levelers it starts rolling on it's own. I can move a 720 lb.table saw into position with two fingers. I cannot say how much of a blessing it is because I've got a bad back, a torn rotator cuff and a pair of bad knees. The holes on the wheel brackets did not match up to my heavy duty mobile base so I swapped out the wheels and put the new ones on my existing brackets. Even with tossing the new brackets and using just the wheels I still saved just over 38% of the cost of buying wheels without brackets elsewhere.

Replacing tires on ShopFox mobile base? Make your life easy. Layout pattern is slightly different than ShopFox and brakes get in the way. Just pull the axle bolt and install the new tire. 20 minute job and your heavy tool is gliding again. I tried to make all the original parts work but problems kept popping up. Change all four tires and you will see the old tires are getting ready to fail. I'm using mine on a PowerMatic 27 shaper. These tires look like they may last.

Great product, sturdy wheels, easy to install. Put on our file cabinet and now easy to move around. Highly recommend, very good price for 4 wheels.
