Unknown product, packaging leaked and lost everything.
I am sure the tartaric acid would have been great, but its shipping story is incompatible with its use: A little man once ordered tartaric acid. From the advertisement it appeared to be shipped in an individualized sealed packet. Unbeknownst to that man, it was shipped in a little tub instead. The tub would have been fantastic for storage, but it was not so great for shipping. The little tub was not taped shut or sealed in any other way. Instead, it was free to roam around inside its box. Carelessly it was tossed into the shipping box, where it rolled and tipped, tipped, and rolled. The next day the little man went to pick up said box, with tartaric acid and a book inside. When he picked up the box, it leaked white powder from the corners. Carefully he opened the box and inside there was an empty plastic tub and a book full of tartaric acid. Alas, the amount left inside the box and the book was not enough for the little man's little recipe.

Product seems to be pure. Came well packaged by shipper. Pictured in a simple plastic bag which I was worried about, instead came in a plastic twist-top container. Thrilled about that. 5 stars for upgraded packaging and competitive price. YMMV.
